Criminals have been arrested and re-arrested, coddled and set free to pillage the citizenry yet again. Lawyers routinely extort fortunes from doctors, contractors and business people with dubious torts.

We slowly learned to tolerate these outrages, shaking our heads in disbelief, and we went on with our lives.

But Barack Obama has ripped the lid off a seething cauldron of dissatisfaction and unrest.

A former Communist is given a paid government position in the White House as an advisor to the president. Auto companies are taken over by the government, and the auto workers' union - whose contracts are completely insupportable in any economic sense - is rewarded with a stake in the company. Government bails out Wall Street investment bankers and insurance companies, who pay their executives outrageous bonuses as thanks for the public support. Terrorists are read their Miranda rights and given free lawyers. And, despite overwhelming public disapproval, Barack Obama has pushed forward with a health care plan that would re-structure one-sixth of the American economy.

Literally millions of Americans have had enough. They're organizing, they're studying the Constitution and the Federalist Papers, they're reading history and case law, they're showing up at rallies and meetings, and a slew of conservative candidates are throwing their hats into the ring. Is there a revolution brewing? Yes, in the sense that there is a keen awareness that our priorities and sensibilities must be radically re-structured. Will it be a violent revolution? No. It will be done through the interpretation of the original document that has guided us for 220 "
FANTASTIC" years--- the Constitution. Just as the pendulum swung to embrace political correctness and liberalism, there will be a backlash, a complete repudiation of a hundred years of nonsense. A hundred years from now, history will perceive the year 2010 as the time when America got back on the right track. And for that, we can thank Barack Hussein Obama.

I would absolutely not blame Obama or Bush or, Chaney, or Rumsfeld or Pelosi ......or any politician what so ever! It is not their fault. Yes they are bad. So what?!
Only people we can blame is people of USA who elected these people into the office from people amongst us. Do you understand??! This is the best America can do!!!
If you want to blame someone then  LOOK INTO THE MIRROR!

It is true Prager that we hold some responsibility for who we vote into office.  However, a friend of my father's served 8 yrs in Congress.  When we all initially supported and voted for him, he was an upright and honest individual.  Sadly, we watched the system corrupt him more and more the longer he was in office.  Last year, he did not win the republican nomination for his seat (my family was one of the many that decided not to support him because of how he changed).  He was replaced by one of the new republican Congressmen now in office.

Sometimes we think we have chosen the right person only to find out that they cave in to the system.

I can't say I agree with look in the mirror statement, in my case it would be more of a look around.  I didn't vote for Obama or any other democrat in office.  I agree totally with gg, when voting, there are a couple of problems.  We can only vote for those that run, and there are times that your choices aren't very good, your are damned if you do and damned if you don't.  If the candidate isn't somebody who has served in office you can't go back and research his voting history, you kind of have to pay attention to what he says he stands for unless there is proof otherwise.  When it comes to most (not all) politicians the biggest indicator that they are lying is their lips are moving! That makes it very hard to know what you are getting.  Then you run into the fact that the majority of people voting really shouldn't be voting! They have no idea what the issues are, who is running, and they don't care to get involved.  The point of a democracy is that is set up by a majority vote and the reality is based on the numbers that's not what we have because the majority of Americans don't vote, and even a smaller percentage vote responsibly.

Hans,
I would say yes. Unfortunately the system has become more powerful than the people and the politicians we elect to run it. So unless we force change we are destine to repeat history over and over. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results each time.

This is a global problem not unique to America.

Obama will win another 4 years so get used to it.  There is not one viable candidate coming from the right.  They are all complete jokes, and it is a real shame that is all the they have to offer.  This election will not be close.  Newt is the only one that stands a chance debating Obama.  Bachman, Perry, Cain?  Total comedy.  Won't be tough to smear Romney all over the place.  Ron Paul would be a nice change of pace, but he will never be allowed near the oval office.

Ron Paul is the only one that makes sense and the news media is afraid to let him speak or give him any credit.  They think they still have everyone convinced that "A vote for him would be a vote for Obama!"  Actually, I don't think they realize what they're up against this time, his support is growing, and growing fast, despite the blackout.  Anyone who does hear what he really has to say SHOULD support him.

He's the only man with ANY principle in a sea of corrupt politicians and both side are bickering over who should get the most money.  The answer is, nobody should get the money.  We're bankrupt and nobody wants to face it.  Take, take, take and the coffers are dry.

Well here's a quote for ya, read it carefully and decide where we are on the scale.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury(Since FDR). From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage." - Alexander Tytler
-

I say we're past dependence and heading for dictatorship.  The government controls every aspect of our lives and we love it!  They tell us what to eat.  Actually, when the FDA approves unsafe foods (and they do have a revolving door between the FDA and Monsanto) and they have taken over feeding YOUR kids in school, and it's pretty much all we can buy, we're allowing the government to control our diets.  They are involved in every aspect of our financial lives and they own our property, all of it.  Yeah, past dependence and we've given them the tools and a signed contract for a dictatorship.  They've been chipping away at our Constitutional rights for years, all in the name of making us safe, FROM OURSELVES!  They control the media, they have rights in our bank accounts, thanks to the Patriot Act.  It's got to stop.

EVERYBODY else has an agenda, except Ron Paul, he knows.

He's also the very first candidate who isn't afraid to express his religious beliefs freely without making it law.  His principles are based in HIS religion, but he also believes in freedom of choice.  He's also the very first Christian man that I've encountered in a very long time who isn't annoying about his beliefs, while standing strong in them.  His reasoning is sound, his principles are above reproach and his voting recond is impeccable.  He practices what he preaches.  Imagine that, an honest politician, he must be a nut.
