Ace,
I saw that you posted a question on "table training" on another forum. Sorry, but I won't comment on that forum. The replies you received were from people that have never used the table for aggression work and clearly do not understand how to use it properly. I will say that you really need to attend a seminar with some one experienced in the technique and nuances. Gene England would be the best. People that do not understand the nuances and subtleties involved in working and reading dogs should never do it or comment on it. But this is the internet and everyone with a keyboard is an expert. You can search "table training" on here and get varied responses as well. Here is a link to a good thread that invariably wound up in flames like most threads on the PDB. It had a lot of good info until it was derailed, check out the "armchair quarterback" thread for the rest of the story.

Slam,
Thanks for the link and was really informative before it went to hell...lol It seems that many are totally against it b/c they feel like it serves no real purpose other than to screw up a dog by people who think they know what they are doing. Other feel it is a very useful tool but as with any training method, if not applied correctly it can set a dog back. Very interesting I I need to go to a training seminar one day just to see about this technique along with others.
As with anything....if it isn't applied correctly it can be dangerous. If it can be applied correctly then it is a invaluable training tool. I say that there are more people ruining good dogs faster who never use a table.

i DITTIO Duderinos statement about Frawley
You cannot learn anything by INTERNET on tables.
YOU must attend seminars or pay to go train with some of the best.
Gene England,
Nate Harves
Russell Osbourne
Randy
These men are proven, known to be ABLE TO READ A GSD < MAL > correctly, AND EXPERIENCED...
THE main ingredient in TABLE TRAINING HAS TO BE
THE ABILITY TO READ THE DOG
