I love, love, LOVE my Bosch vacuum (BSG71370) -

Why do I consider it my true life partner?
- It's a smokin' red colour. Very important.
- It's super powerful- I have to turn down the suction when I vacuum a rug or I pull the rug off the floor. It laughs at dog hair!
- It's extremely quiet.
- It's very light weight- I can hold it in one hand while I vacuum the stairs.
- The attachments are stored in the vacuum. I could never find the attachments for our vintage Filter Queen.
- Cord is long enough that I can vacuum the entire main floor of my house. The cord is also autoretracting.
- It's very compact for storage (handle is telescoping).
- Need I say more?

Ahaha! Poor Sue, return it, my Mom gave me a purple Dyson for Christmas in either 2003 or 2004 and I've never had a problem. I understand someone not liking the bagless aspect, I didn't think I would but it's been nice and easy. When I was a kid I sold Kirby vacuums, lol!

Well......... I was going to vacuum this morning, but when I tried to turn the stupid thing on the switch broke! I returned it and got a Dyson. So far, so good.

I love my Dyson!
Although I will say, my attachments don't seem to fit in their spots to well but besides that I love it!

Dyson here.
You can look on craigslist and get a great deal. I got mine off craigslist sealed in the box for $200.
Now there is the new attachement called the Dyson Groom. $69+tax (ouch) but I am interested.
