Ivan...very good trainer... Nikta.... was I think was a double G'Vitou.
1992. Competitor and  Foundation bitch.
Molly is off to a good start with her dogs.

The question I have.. is I know Jack Nickelson started the
Ray ban sunglasses fad.

But who started the Oakley Jawbone fad?  Ivan Or Waleed?

Ivan's extensively trained one of my doorknobs that I advised the buyer wasn't a very exceptional schutzhund prospect to begin with.  Being the only male available, they buyer disregarded my advice, and the dog's still a doorknob, I don't care how good the training is.

Ivan is one of the great trainers that has connected with
Americans and  with people world wide . He has a fundamentally
sound way of doing things that pays off. He faced a public
who knew little or nothing about advanced training and
started a group to promote dog sports. No one
has accomplished more in such a short time.

I don't know about door knobs.

My girl friend years ago had to tell me
what a knobber was. ...has nothing to
do with dogs.

LOL  MM:

You must have been before the time of SLICK WILLY....LOL

I was going to buy a  BACK KNOBBER once but it was awefully expensive

I decided to just  get a bath towel and roll it up and make it work instead.!!!!!!!

I would love to see some video of your dogs working. I saw a lot of pictures, but that means nothing to me. I like to watch video.

You seem to be confused about what the term doorknob is, I didn't realize in working dogs it was a rare and unusual term. Feel free to ask me. I will tell you.

Just thought I would stop by seeing as my name was brought up.

This is the dog I mentioned.  It's the only public video I can find, but I've seen a few others of the protectionwork and some additional obedience that are more convincing of the deserved title of "doorknob".

Doorknob is what I refer to high threshold dogs. Some people say they have an "on off" switch. These are the dogs that cannot cut it in the bitework without stimulation, lots of run bys and drive building.

Lots of "defense" work, as the dog will fall asleep without it. If some of you would like to try a sport that requires a better dog, then check out the ring sports with your dogs. They are fun, and you could find out what I am talking about when I say doorknob very quickly.
