Well I am very sorry to see that the moderator's comments on this thread have been removed.

I will not go back and edit my prior posts on this thread. I stand by what I say. I will state here though that quite a bit can be taken out of context now. If anyone would like an explanation, please feel free to ask.

Mods, I can't speak for anyone but myself but I have never intended a personal attack or bashing of the mods on this forum. If anything I have said was taken that way, then I sincerely apologize.

Wow!  Where did the mod comments go and why did you feel the need to remove your comments?

Why did you remove my post?

It's a shame they can't leave one thread alone to have an honest discussion on.

The board IMO is worse now then before it had Mods. The problem is it could all be caused by one person and the other Mods could be doing a great job. You just don't know.

I suggest they leave an offensive post on and just comment about what is unacceptable and ban that person for a while, people will learn from seeing what is banned. Instead you have people responding to a deleted post and the whole thread becomes incoherrent.

I'm not a happy camper, and apparently I'm not alone.

It's hard to follow this thread, when the Mod's comments are removed. It's like MJ is talking to herself!

If the Moderator's judgment stands, then why not the explanation of such judgment?

perhaps we should realize that moderators are human also! Occasionally they do need a hug and some slack! so if we could be a little less critical of ONE ANOTHER and remember that this is a german shepherd forum  things might run a little smoother!  Can we  get used to cutting some slack instead of one anothers necks????????????????  Is that to freakin hard??

Raymond your avatar picture looks like the Cookie Monster on steroids. LOL

Raymond, what a wonderfully refreshing post and so true! You my dear, have gotten the point.
Can we all try to put it in action?

Ninja, that's a great suggestion. Since the mods can edit posts, why can't they remove the offending part or post only and leave a comment in the box as to why the post was edited? A simple "edited/removed by mod for profanity, personal attack, TOS violation" would do. Nothing more needed. How about post a warning or two in a thread to ease up before just deleting the whole thing? More than one really shouldn't be necessary but people post at the same time and a warning might not be seen the first time. Specifically target repeat offenders with a warning and block them if necessary.

All of us simply being told to shut up or else like we're a bunch of kindergarteners is old. We are adults and don't appreciate it..

The mods really should have PM capabilities. They could be contacted privately about questions and they could warn/educate people privately and communicate with each other. I think it would save a whole lot of embarrassment, hard feelings and help out a lot.

Shady, that's OK, I mumble to myself all the time anyway LOL

I agreed with Ulli on a post here and made a comment as to, why Preston would be banned but I'm still here? Poof it was gone about an hour later. Then I just left "poof", that dissapeared in a minute or less.

I was strait forward, didn't say anything rude, just factual and it is gone. On another thread I can say "shit" and it stays. NO continuity whatsoever! Once again, posting is pointless and a waste of time. Eventually no one will bother, if it is just going to poof into nothingness.

Hey 4pack, Hey Vickie,
this really is getting out of hand. It is very disturbing, to say the least, an atack on everything I used to like about PDB. Poof, Vickie's post and questions gone, well Viickie your fault, how dare you are to even ask. And dont be childish now, you just had coming what you asked for ! So hush now, will you ?
Oh, pardon me, even the Moderators are now deleting each other ? If we keep the deleting stuff at this pace, we will be deleting ourselfs & PDB in no time. Again, pretty Pathetic.

Holy Moly, what a mess.

Hey Ulli,
Good to see you again.

Well, I see my post to Oli last night has been deleted.  What a joke this is. Has the PDB become a place where you can't even post a question to Oli without it being deleted?  I guess I need t start copying posts and mods comments and posting them again and again as others have done n the past with different threads.

It really isn't worth the effort as this site has lost it's luster and is no longer worth my time. No matter how hard you try you just can't polish a turd.  I will post on some topics when someone gives horrible training advice to simply point out the horrible advice.  For example, kneeing a 7 month old pup in the chest to stop it from jumping.  That's about all I will do as far as topics go.

I enjoy the ads and the pedigrees that is about it.

Jim
