They're bald.   Makes everyone happy, except the ultra conservative.

Back to poor Elvis.

Have you seen the vet reports? Something does not sound right on their responses, they should wish to do anything to solve the pups ailment.

I will let you know as soon as I hear something.  Hi GSD Newbie!  They are going to get them for me next week whent he vet opens back up.

And Jenni and Don- are we interrupting something with you two?

I would get a stool sample for coccidia (sp) I bought a puppy who would have recurring symptoms like you have described went on for weeks some days ok then bouts of very loose stools and the test was positive and we treated him with Baycox two weeks apart fine ever since.  As the coccidia is shed in the stools he may be continually re infecting himself.  Good luck!

Don, you are just a little bit sick.  That's ok; we love you anyway.

I really don't get the idea that it's the people who are complacent; I think the vet is really to blame and the people are just misguided and not questioning authority like they should. JMO.

Tell them to STOP changing his food every other day, that may be the problem, I had a puppy with the same problem returned to me, and I gave her a full refund for what she paid for the pup.

They tested for EVERYTHING possible, except forgot to update it's booster shots.

I actually rescued the pup from that lady, and when she brought the pup back, she was on Hill's prescription diet food, Flagyl, and steriods, that vet saw her coming!

Hi,

I am sorry to know about Elvis, like  most i agree you need to take more opinions from other vets.
One thing you can try which i have seen help in similar problems here in india is Aloe Vera juice. It can never do harm but only good, give 15 ml morning empty stomach and night before going to sleep for 10 days & then make it 25 ml morning & night till you complete a month.
Its a natural supplement & not toxic medication anyway.

Thank you everyone!  That's why I turn to this board when I need answers.  You are all so great!

I would treat with Metroconazol for 5 days. Cocci usually is not a problem after 12 weeksof age usually still can be if the dog is stressed etc. I agree with jen just treat and see much much easier just treat the dog feed boiled chicken and rice get his gi to calm down.
