That sounds like a hell of a lot of work.
Teamwork involving two bitches can be hard to handle. I probably would have given up. One bitch in particular has really been acting up lately and trying to put everyone in their place. I really have to stay on my toes. Pack mentality is definitely interesting to watch.

P.S. I agree

Stacy,
I worked males only for 30 years, and I stumbled
on these two female sisters. They are Malinois off a very
good bloodline. The one thing that we are noticing is
something that occurs in nature. When the dominate males
are killed in a pack of wolves the females become pack
leaders and take on male characteristics. Both emotionally
and even physically begin to look masculine. This happen over
a period of about 2-3 years of leadership.
What that means to me is my girls are becoming more and
more like a alpha male.
The upside is I don't have the problems I would have with two
male dogs, which off these lines would be impossible to train
together. The downside is the heat cycles, which even seem to be
effected. They are not coming in the usual 6 months but only once
a year. Both are very healthy but carry less fat and have more muscle
than any female I have ever seen. I can work them twice a day really
hard know, without any problems. Together they do a take down of
a 240 lb man in less time than it takes to use a stun gun.
So I am amazed and very excited right now. They went way passed
my expectations.

And I am not even a certified k9 officer
My truck is marked Caution K9 from when I did work with Gal Co and Harris Co., in the dog program , and I had Gator up here, who is the Orthos v Tiekerhook male I bred to, and an apprehension dog for Gal CO. SO>, back then, and I kept him here for vacation purposes for his handler.. ,and my whole neighborhood knew, and one night I actually stopped a sale, in my neighborhood and then during day I went to the lake to swim Gator.
I let him out with his leash and having been in training with a certified K9 trainer who showed me some training in chemical retrieval, I knew the signs and it is so funny... Have you ever seen the pupils and the eyeballs of men or guys or gals on dope and have it in their possession????
WHEN Gator would give me the alert, I would call his handler on phone and say Hey Jimmy,,tell me again what Gator does ??? we laughed because we both knew why I did that...
inside story....inside joke..
I have thrown tennis balls in the yard in my neighborhood of known handlers and sellers of the junk, and watched Gator tell me a whole story in one look...
and I am not even a trained officer..If I can get it I know Jim doesn't even need the dog except for his back up...lol
Good job Jim............HOPE MY STORY DOESN'T GET DELETED....I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO PREACH A SERMON ON HERE........

LMAO. But we know your garden is much bigger.
Davren,
There were several posts above mine earlier today, mine was in response to another member who started the thread. All of the previous posts got deleted and mine was left at the top. So, it made sense at the time now it is just hanging out there like a big matzo ball. Nice to see you back by the way, how are the pups?
Earlier today threads and posts were disappearing faster than hot biscuits at a weight watchers convention.
YR,
That's a very funny story.
Jim
