Personally, I like to save fish-based foods for use in case of allergies. Does your dog have allergies? Otherwise, they are generally lower in protein than I prefer.

I dont like mixing 2 kibbles at once. If you have an issue, you don;t know who the culprit is. I just change protiens each time I buy food, chicken, lamb, fish, venison and so on. Most brands of food have a few types of "flavors" in their line.

Jenn,,,No allergies, just have heard that fish based protein is better in terms of hair coat health...
4pack,,,Thinking it over, I do think that it would be a good idea to stop mixing kibble. If only for the reason you mention about not knowing the culprit...Also, it is a pain to do all the mixing and bag storage. I like the idea about changing flavors using the same product line....
Thanks Deanna...: )

You'd be better off supplementing w/wild salmon oil and vitamin E.

Good advice ,,,,I have been feeding Prince twice a day and he is much more satisfied. He is getting the same amount of food as before, but he does not spend the day sitting by his food bowl and so far, no morning vomiting either.... Also, I took your advice 4pack, and switched over to a food line ( TOTW ) that has multiple proteins so I could change every few months...
Thanks......Deanna...: )
