Congrats on the hip certification! Very nice!
BUT....be careful when waiting to send in elbow xrays (if you choose to do so) on an older dog.....
If there are any arthritic changes...they could/will not pass. This can be a problem with older dogs OR dogs that are "hard" on their elbow joints.
This is one of the "faults" in the OFA system (I believe).....they have no "grading" scale.
This being one reason we primarily choose to send xrays to Germany for evaluation...but that is "my" personal reason.

I completely agree that OFA needs a scale on older dogs elbows.

I would have done the same.. I just sold a male 14mos and I prelimmed him ...all ok good...a must when you sell to a another breeder...Do not want my name muddied up on here......lol
