I'd like to hear from Claudia Romard (who has posted here from time to time) and ...blast, having a senior's moment...

Okay, there are times when this board is wonderful resource. I did a search for 'Best Schutzhund Trainers' and found a very lengthy thread, where his name was the first one mentioned: Ivan Balabanov  He taught a friend's medical service dog to protect her, and, as she was a very exeperienced dog person herself, he showed her how to work around her physical limitations to control the dog, and keep him up to date on his training. Not many schutzhund people I know that would be willing to tackle this sort of training.

SunSilver,
Ivan has the background to teach anyone who
wants to learn. I think to get people to come here, we need only
make sure that it is not point--counter point. But guest's that
share the same fundamentally sound practices. It is not
proper edicate to slam another trainer publicly in a forum
like this. but I will tell you all trainers love to talk dogs, but don't
go to chat-rooms to air dirty laundry....So I would be for very
clear and specific with topics  with in there area of expertise.
And not pit two people who don't like each other. The trainers
know who they would share the discussions with already, and
who they would not.

Ivan Balabanov...thank you for helping this person with physical
limitations. You never walk away from any challenge. You are a
good person and a good trainer...
