I actually agree with you TwoMoons...
The GSD cannot be treated as any other breed, but lets not forget: When it comes down to it, they're all dogs. If a pet owner decides to work with an aggressive dog (especially GSD) they should take every precaution to make sure the dog is controlled. This should be a rule irregardless of your chosen method!

If you cannot safely and effectively manage your dogs aggression, YOU SHOULD NOT OWN THE DOG.

This I agree on, plus some of the more serious faults should be nipped in the bud in a more permanent manner. At least in the GSD breed if one cares about the breed at all.
