Very nice looking dogs, with a great pedigree.  Good luck with them.  My male is a Cordon grandson and linebred 2-4 on Cordon An Sat.  It is nice to see dogs that still have him in the pedigree and not so far back.

Nice looking dogs. Jim, I had a dog linebred on Cordon and it was the worst GSD I ever owned. Total nervebag. Goes to show you that anything is possible in breeding and animals. I was excited for this pup because I have seen nothing but good things from Cordon. Luck of the draw, right? Well, everything has to be taken into account, sire, dam, environment, lunar cycle, etc! Anyhow, best of luck with the dogs! How well do they work?

Sam,
Speaking for how my dog works, in a word "awesome."  His litter mates are the same way.  His father Dante Traho was a fantastic working dog and the Cordon son.  My dog is clear headed while having super high drive in all phases.  Very focused, excellent tracking dog, excellent in his narcotics work.  Super happy, high energy, but correct heeling and obedience.  His bite work is really great, super hard, full, calm, crushing grips.  Consistently, hard, full and crushing whether on a  suit, sleeve or bad guy.  His street (real) bites are full and super hard, while remaining clear headed in a real fight, with a rage brewing under the surface.

He is a very hard dog and very resilient with no handler aggression.  He is very affectionate at home, but very aloof with strangers.  He will not tolerate a stranger petting him and will show his disapproval with a low, deep rumbling growl.    He is a civil dog with true serious natural aggression.  He is calm and clear headed enough to control his aggression, but you absolutely know when he means business.  When I did SchH with him he had a strong "presence" on the field as a young dog.  He is a great police dog, but would have been a National level SchH dog.

For me he is the perfect male dog, strong and serious but a big mush at home and a bit of a clown.

Jim
