Yep I miss GREEN too. It's costing me a fortune in water bills just so I can have green grass in my front yard

It is so dry here in East Texas right now  NO GRASS!  In the rural   . In town they will shortly  ration the water  you can use for watering lawns.

We have 100* today and no rain in site.  Serious

I  do not remember ever seeing 100 degree in June on the second day of summer.

105 here in Kansas, yesterday, only 103 today,  but the humidity is not nearly as bad as it has been all this past week,  no rain for us either...Lida

Hot and humid here today, around 90 F, also we had a small earthquake, 5 on the Richtor scale, although, I didn't feel it, so it obviously wasn't as strong here as in TO.

We have been blessed with alot of rain, can't keep up to the lawn.  It's great for the crops/corn and pastures though.

Today was high temps 96* .. we get alot of T-Storms every other night .... awesome this year so far for crops. I baled another 6 acres today ... My Mal is so awesome.  She gets all the baby bunnies and birds outta my way !!!!

With my Cattle Dog I have to stop all the time and make sure all the baby bunnies are outta my way ... I don't have to do that with Grandeur it's full throttle ... I love her !!!  Dairy Queen again tonight !!

Very low eighties today here in North Idaho...First day in a week where we only had a few drops of rain.  Also, most of the last few weeks have hovered in the fifties and low sixties...Still lighting a fire in the furnace some nights to keep that nip off the air.  Not tonight, though..Got warm today.

The dogs are running around with their tongues hanging to their knees, lounging in the shade, and, in Misty's case, getting as wet as possible today.  Oakley doesn't care to be wet, so she just stays cool.

The portion of the garden not covered by the greenhouse is only partly planted, here in the middle of June, and what is planted is not up yet.  The greenhouse plants are all up and growing madly.  I also have a very large tomato plant that is over six feet tall, growing in an old beer keg-turned-planter, in my living room.  I have beefsteak tomatoes three inches across already, from a plant we grew from seed planted in March.

It's been oddly cold and wet so far this spring...We are on par to break the previous June rainfall record if things keep up.  I wonder what effect the Iceland volcano has had on the weather around the world, but as dry and warm as the winter was, we need the moisture to keep the forest fire damage down.  I won't complain.

PS...Nice pictures, Yellowrose.

Crys
Nothing has been said over here about the Volcano for many weeks it has not disrupted flights at all for a long time, Nothing on the news about it
Perhaps it was not such a threat to Air Travel as first thought

If you truly want to take this board back and do something other than talk about the weather support threads like the I post- A chance to do good.  I don't believe I've seen most of you over on that thread.

Just by putting BASHING in your title you get 5 times the views of something that can help the GSD breed, our food supply and the environment. But sad to say trash and miscellaneous stupid pictures sell. No wonder most knowledgeable people have fled this board.

Tig,
Talking about the weather isn't the problem on the PDB.  The problem, IMO, lies with Oli's lack of oversight.  Either Oli lacks a backbone or doesn't care about what is posted here.  I am not getting involved in any training threads or any threads of substance while people like UD and others can post their BS.  I'll stop by periodically to lurk and to reinforce the reasons that it is not worth my time to get too involved with  threads on this forum.

There are a few dog related topics that catch my eye here, it seems every time I start to respond I just say "it really isn't worth it."  and delete my post.

FWIW,

Jim
