I think DDR Maggie is suffering from alzheimer's or some other form of dementia. My mom ran an elderly, home health care business for years and DDR Maggie is showing all the classical signs of dementia after all onset is usually in the late 60's early 70's.

I have NO multiple identities on this site, or any other site. I would have NO idea how to get a thread deleted or modified and have never done so, and I have never hit the "abuse" button, but now I think I will, because it is tiresome to come here and see that people are obsessed and just will not let go..
On this bill, it is no secret that California (once such a free and wonderful place) has become the domain of socialists and public employees' unions, who keep looking to make more work for themselves via programs spawned by bills like this. Then, naturally, they proceed to bungle the job they took on. They can't even manage to properly track and account for sex offenders like the one who just killed the poor girl in San Diego. Oh, they found him quickly enough, and that was good, because of DNA. But they could not protect the public, could they? So, now they want another program.. naturally! Cha-ching!!!! They'll get the money and find some way to bungle the job.
On that note, it reminds me of the state-licensed foster home that sponsored a young man who (along with his buddies) brutally murdered my uncle in his own home, only a couple of blocks away, in order to get his car to joy ride in. These foster homes are making over $1,500 a month for keeping these bad-ass boys and can't keep track of them, just let them run the neighborhoods and they can be anywhere, in any neighborhood, licensed homes and it's a lucrative business and industry.. nothing you can do to keep them out.. Better keep your doors and windows bolted, and yes.. get a dog, if you don't have one, already. My uncle befriended these boys and fixed their bikes.. later got his throat slit, a knife stuck clear through his chest (stuck into the wood floor, under him) and left for dead, the family room where he was set on fire.. and the boys were later caught joy riding in his car. Question: "Where was the foster care guardian"? Case in point.. government programs do NOT prevent crime!

That's $1,500 per month PER CHILD, by the way, and it sure smells like money to me! A work buddy of mine said he did a job at a gated estate on Palos Verdes Peninsula (VERY rich neighborhood), owned by a woman who had a "non-profit" umbrella organizations with SEVEN of these juvenile / child foster homes under her, each set up as a "non-profit", and her monthly gross was $150,000.. That's $150,000, per month, before expenses. Expenses probably consisted of anything she could write off, in addition to legit expenses like a visiting nurse and certain administrative expenses.
This brings up a very interesting point.. The CPS system was originally set up by the Federal gov't under the 1974 Mondale Act, and has been adopted in every state under their own Federally compliant charters.. The Federal gov't cannot force participation, but offers handsome funding incentives.. the "carrot" approach, which seems to work well.. So, well, in fact, that programs are set up not so much as a matter of conscience or need, but out of a desire to go for the money. The CPS system has become a multi-BILLION dollar industry. And, just connecting the dots a few steps ahead, I can see that this is where the AR activists want to go with pets. If the current trend continues, pets and animals will have legal standing as persons in courts of law, and right to legal representation and each animal will have an advocate of their own, just as children might have.
Now, children are people.. little people.. and they have need for advocacy. I have no problem with that. I DO have a problem with comparing animals to people and giving them equal legal standing. There is no foundation for this in jurisprudence, yet, but AR activists are working towards that. They would like to see a foster care system for animals, just like CPS, becoming a multi-billion dollar industry. And, if your neighbor is annoyed by your dogs' barking and decides to "drop a dime" on you, the authorities can come and take all your animals, AND your children, and you will have to sort it all out in court. You will also be obligated to pay the costs of the storage of all your two-legged and four-legged charges, as long as they remain in the custody of a court-appointed guardian.. be it for life, then so be it. $$$$$$$
So, you know where this is all going, and remember I told you. I find it very, very interesting that no one particularly gave a rat's ass about children, animals, elders, mentally / emotionally retarded patients, until there was big money in it.. VOILA!!! Suddenly we become a passionate and caring nation of do-gooders! Too bad about the perception of children and others in the system, who do not feel very well loved, and often feel helpless and abused. From time to time the abuse becomes impossible to hide any longer and we hear of children dying in foster homes where care was negligent, probably rendered by the relative of someone high up in government administration, and otherwise unemployable.
Just like Ronald Reagan said: "Government is not the solution.. It is the problem"!

Look down at your shoe.. I believe you just stepped in a cow pie of your own making.
Don't worry.. I'm sure this thread will have also disappeared by morning. When you wake up.. or go to sleep, as the case may be, you will find that it was all just a bad dream.
By the way.. How the hell did a Ron Paul video make it into this thread? Anyone care to explain that?

DDR-DSH = Janice Bartmess = convicted for abuse/neglect.......although she will say it was AR activists and write novels here defending her abuse/hoarding.

I have a picture in my mind of this "Sock Puppet" as a nerdy little fool, running around with a ten year old newspaper on a placard, hoping people will notice and pay attention. Sock Puppet / Bazza / Ingrid / Valerie whoever you are.. It's yesterday's news, and no one cares about that, except people who are obsessed and not living a real life.

Good night, and don't look for me for at least 24 hours, if that.. I have a REAL life to attend to.. I don't live in front of a computer monitor.. So sorry for those who do. Go out and get some sunshine and fresh air. It's good for your mental health!
