I use the canned green trip from Merrick. i have 3 dogs - 86lbs, 55lbs and a dinky mutt ~20lbs - and i split one can 3 ways, with the largest getting 1/2 can, and the littlest getting a couple tbsp. they get it a couple times a week. if they get more than that, they get loose stools. i will check out greentripe.com though - it may be a better choice. i have limited freezer space too.

I have never had loose stools from tripe- although I rarely feed it any way except fresh, sometimes frozen, FWIW. I would read the ingredients; they could be adding something that's causing the loose stools.
Shipping isn't cheap, but I have some elk tripe I'll sell for $2/lb if anyone on here is interested. I need the freezer space. I have about 200lbs still.
