Stuka has strength, power, aggression (in prey and defense), and speed like very few dogs. And he is quite social around the house. If I owned a female, he is the type of dog I would breed to. Just watch the videos of the pups he produces on Nate's website. The only question is whether or not the female is worthy of breeding to Stuka.

and like ctfgsd said most of the puppies have intensity, focus, loyalty and I will add drive to their makeup. Stuka is a serious
dog but quite sociable when "at ease".

At the AWDF last year I watched the helper catch dogs on the long bite without moving a step, but need to take 10 steps to keep Stuka from knocking him down - impressive and still the favorite dog of the helpers. He is social around everyone, with the ability to get REAL at any time. Stuka is big on heart and just plain NEVER quits.
As for not being a "point" dog, I believe that more points are matter of adapting one's training style to this type of dog. He has competed successfully in National Events and Nate could most likely tell you what to think about as far as what to reinforce and what Stuka brings naturally for more precision. He is a willing dog, but also knows what he wants.
I know I will be keeping an eye on his future breeding's if the female can also impress me.
Things I do not like-Hhmmmm.......
- Taking a long bite from him
- Might be too much dog for some
- Makes training too much fun and I won't want to go home

I am a Indianapolis Metro Police K9 Officer. I've been a K9 officer since 1985. I feel like I know what it takes to work the street and to take care of business on the street. Stuka can ride in my back seat any night!!!
Yours in the work
