Bob-O

by Bob-O on 19 December 2009 - 03:12

Okay. Christmas will be very easy this year. What does one give a woman with that one has been more than a decade (other than some good loving)? It just so happened that the twenty (20) - plus-year-old microwave oven developed an internal short. So, this weekend (I have the wife's smiling approval) I will purchase a new unit. Nothing fancy - very basic and good. Shall I say that I got off easy? I think I shall!

Best Regards,
Bob-O

Edited: uh, had to change "women" to "woman". Those days are past me.

Bob-O, the microwave is nice, but maybe a promise to make the first dinner, dishes included, will really make it a homerun.

The noodles are for tomorrow night's horseman party at the local Red Barn. Everyone must bring a covered dish. I'm taking chicken noodle soup, deer jerky and 1/2 keg of Yuengling Lager. Hope I get the empty keg back. LOL

Ok, my nights about over, good night all.

How about some  Snickerdoodles to boot with them noodles...MY great babysitter years ago, use to make noodles and snickerdoodles and my kids would always ask me  why can't you do that....Huh...because I have not the patience for Noodles over the chairs or on the clothes lines...she did use a clothes line from the cabinet to the cabinet....accross the room....my kids loved watching and sampling...she also made pralines......yummmy...

And she made   homade Sopapillas..  I did learn to do those ...I make snickerdoodles every once in a while, too...no noodles..

You be careful out there, easy on the Lager if you plan to drive home in a blizzard! Make sure your truck is prepared for emergencies. We had a party to go to tonight but it just got cancelled. I think it was a smart move, knowing what killer Cosmo's the host's are famous for making.

I'm heading up to BabyEagles party, see if I can crash in and try out that chickie noodle soup!

Does Rum qualify as a covered dish?

by VomMarischal on 19 December 2009 - 17:12

BabyEagle, I always use wire hangers....hanging all over the kitchen. OK, well, I USED to...haven't made noodles in about ten years. Thanks for reminding me to get with it!

PS. Those mojitos were SOOOOOO good!
