The cold pressed processing is pretty interesting and gaining more popularity as the public learns more about it. Some vitamins /fats/minerals are heat sensitive but not all of them.
An earlier post asks about kibble being deficient in nutrients. If anyone is interested, the National Research Councl publishes guidelines for feeding just about everything. You learn what is called dietary essentials meaning it is a nutrient that must be fed daily. Its a very good guideline to use.
I am curious to hear how the vitamin C supplementation may ease joint pain. Maybe I can stop taking the Ibuprofen!
Back to C supplementation and bone development. The critical ages are when the bitch is in whelp throught 1 1/2 years of age in the large breed dog. ( I know, some will say 1 year ).
We need to start a green tripe post! How do you feed it? with or without a clothespin on your nose?
