Hey Steve,
Then you'd love to see my leg! I was serious when I said she doesn't just want my pants, she wants my legs and will let go of the pants for a better grip! :-) She is already showing signs of a good SchH prospect. And talk about serious. She is very playful, but she is not in any way "goofy" or "silly" like most puppies are. I have never seen a puppy quite like her...
Talk to you soon!

Yes. That is what true GSD working puppies are supposed to be like.

Once they grab onto the "opponent" (unfortunately your leg), then they are dead-puppy-serious about their business. Playfulness will come later. Also, anything that is not bolted or welded onto somethingwill get destroyed.

Countless times I would come into the backyard to find something completely destroyed.

One time I cameout and he spat a piece of a lawn furniture out of his mouth when he was 4 months - Hey look boss, I sure killed this thing!

I was like - a lawn chair, what the heck, man? He was already onto something else.

Ah, yes, your legs and hands will have cuts, bruises and scratches.

I suggest a good rag, a good tug a good ballon a rope and begin redirecting now.

Best of luck - they do grow so fast, puppy silliness will be over before you know it.

Adi, Yes the cuteness of her grabbing my leg has already worn off and she hasn't been home a week yet. I bring toys outside with us now to redirect. The funny part, is that she only grabs at our pants outdoors! Inside, she is a perfect lady. Well, not entirely true. My young sons toys are all fair game when he leaves them on the floor :-)

Also when we are in the front yard and people walk by, she stops what she is doing, sits down and watches them pass by. She isn't curious about them, in that she has no desire to go make friends with passers by, like a lot of puppies do.
Here are a few more pictures of her.

Steve,
That's not half of her toys :-) Off the top of my head I can say she has at least 8. Plus a bed that she doesn't want to sleep in.
Jason,
They DO look like little pit bull ears lol. And they are TINY. Just like Zasko's :-)
