Annamay, I wouldn't sweat it.  Evidently, this person, who remains faceless and nameless (as do any of his/her own dogs), has risen so far above the rest, they have no time to "waste" on our senseless posts.  Oh he who sits on high has no reason to show us what perfection is being bred, owned and trained at the homestead of the heavens.  We are too far below to even gaze upon such perfection for we would not be able to comprehend what we're actually seeing.

Bazza, you come on here and act high and mighty and are nasty in most of your comments.  You call people out on their breeding practices, stacks, etc. and show none of your own.  If you posted links to your own breedings, perhaps you could be taken seriously.  Yes, I am an amateur, my dog will never be anything but a pet who may be titled in the future, I'm not ashamed of that.  But to insinuate all are of a lower intellect is ridiculous.  There are other venues where I'm sure I could make you look like an idiot and leave you in the dust.  You are a genius because you know dogs?  You are in serious need of a reality check.  I have stated I'm no expert when it comes to conformation and asked you to give an honest critique of my dog, for fun.  He will never be bred, he will remain my companion and we will do together what makes us both happy.  I'm not in this for any gain except to make my pet the best he can be.  if you'd like to find fault with that, go right ahead.  Your spelling and grammatical errors have been shown to be more than typos and yet you ridicule others' english.  Stay on high and don't respond to the peons if you are bothered by such drivel.  Speaking of one who can dish it out with a ladle, but can't take a teaspoon of your own medicine!

You know, bazza, I guess you didn't look too closely at Klodo's pic, above.  He wasn't pulling on his lead, stretched out way too far, in the pic taken of him.  He stood naturally, and from the looks of the pic, I'd bet he wasn't being enticed by someone, either, any more than Annamay's dog, or mine, or GSDtravels, above.

It seems sad to have to have three people to pose a dog for a picture.  If you're taking professional grade pictures for use in a show program, or for your kennel website, or something of equally high financial purpose, then I could see going to all that trouble. 

There's nothing wrong with a stand / stay stack pic.  Maybe doesn't show the dog to be as intense as when he's being enticed for something, and held back by someone else.

I would like to know what dogs you have bred, if you are indeed so far above the low life novices on this board.  Please, do enlighten those here with the photos, pedigrees, and training achievements of your dogs.  If you are unwilling to even post pictures, then I would be suspicious of your statements based on the fact that with all your achievements, you should be proud to show them off.

I'll start.

My first GSD, TNT Prince von Blitzen, American bred GSD.  No titles, basic obedience, good friend.



Second GSD: Annie Oakley, unregistered, BYB castoff, blind and unwanted.  Basic obedience.  And here's a stack of her. 
No, I don't have show winners.  I don't have Schutzhund titles.  I don't have any of that.  But I'm proud of the GSDs I've had, and I'm proud to show them to the world. 

Bazza is an elitist, plain and simple. That kind of discipline excludes a hell of a lot of people and dogs. Not the best for the breed or the sport. I would think a good judge, like a good coach, is one who inspires competitors to be their best, something Bazza does not do. Bazza doesn't even want to encourage amateurs to try, the question is why?
