I'm going to take the dogs sledding around the artic. Live in an igloo in the sub-0's and a hutch otherwise. Get some good moments with wildlife.
Seriously, I would like to just travel around the US in an RV.
Don't worry. I'll never make it to retirement.

But it's not always cold and snowy...Sometimes it's very nice. And very beautiful.

This picture was taken only about ten miles from my house. This is a privately owned pond, that provides some incredible photo opportunities. One this particular day, there was no AC required!
But it can be very, very snowy in the winter.
Here you go...This pic is taken from the lower driveway that goes past our house, about five feet lower than the house. The nearly two feet of snow on the root is only a small portion of the nearly twelve feet of snow that fell the winter of 2007-2008.

Here's another...There's a full size Chevrolet pickup under that snowpile. It is sitting in our front driveway, which is recessed about three feet, but there's almost four feet of snow sitting on the top of that truck. Crazy winters, the last two. We spent so much time shoveling out everyone else that our own snow ended up getting a bit piled up....

And sometimes we see wildlife right outside the window...These two moose are down on the main driveway, about forty feet from our house...

Retire? I do not thing so. I love too much what I do. But if I win a lottery?... I have been all over the world, but I have never seen country so picturesque and diverse as where I am from. Czech rep. Small colorfull contry in centr of Europe,
with great beer everywhere. Bunch of friends. Realestate is relatively cheep. I am thinking to buy an old farm house on some land near my old friends. I guess friends and family is all we have left when all is said and done. So here is a plan. One bungalow on a beach in Costarica. One log cabin in moutains of Wyoming and farmhouse in Czech rep.

I'm thinking this would be a nice alternative to a traditional RV. Not real good milege but plenty of room inside.

One other thing that tiny Belgium is famous for is its Beers over 100 different beers to choose from some only 125cc and you will not drink a fourth one they are very strong,
In cafes and Bars it is table service they come to you and take your order you do not have to get up, all you ask for if it is an ordinary beer which is called a Pincher
Also we have legalized Ladies of the night for those in need of there services and i can tell you the main road from Sint Truiden to our house there are 40 of them in shop windows at night the cars cruise the road, a damn nuisance as they turn without warning you have to be on guard driving that road at night, but there are some beautiful young ladies offering there services, The Children grow up with it and take no notice it is a part of life this side of Europe, The local Mayor thinks it a good thing and in a way it is to be in the open none on the street corners, they is against the Law
So Raymond there is no shortage of ladies in that respect, but the normal Belgian ladies are very nice

Crys, here's the link to the winter pictures:
In the first one, my dogs are standing behind a 5' tall gate, on top of over a foot and a half of packed snow! I was very glad I ordered 5' fencing instead of 4'!
On December 4th of last year, my room mate's son and I were up on top of the roof, trying to ease the snow burden so it wouldn't be damaged. (I already had a leak up there, and the no-good contractor I hired to fix it said he couldn't do it until spring....grrrr!!)
I learned REALLY fast that you can't get through winter in this area of the world without a good snowblower (or a contractor with a plow who comes and does the snow removal for you.)
The second picture is of my patio table and chairs. That's how much snow was on the table even after the wind had blown some of it away!
