Thanks.  What I meant by I'm not sure who gives up first is one of us passes out first--LOL--no I don't go get her out because I know that rule.  I've just never had a pup that howled and cried for 2 hours straight before.  It makes me feel bad but I can't let her run loose--for her own safety if nothing else because she's very interested in cords.  Guess I'm stuck wt toughing it out.  I will try the part where when she does quieten downj I will get up and treat and praise.  Again thanks Sue.

Congratulations!  She's a very cute little puppy, and looks like a real thinker.  Have fun with her.

I'm about to embark on the same journey.

I was surprised  because I knew you knew all this stuff, and you know, I really didn't want to say anything,  but I did wonder if you were suffering some form of Early Onset Senior Momentitus.

Sue you are tooooooooo cute.....LOL............mostly I just read and learn mo9re but I am not above asking for suggestions.  Speaking of Seniors--I just had my 56th birthday last month and I think it is one of those things where I have less patience.  Maybe I have a senior moment and just don't remember a puppy howling for 2 hrs in the past 22 years.  LOL................Maybe I suffer from CRS--can't remember shit.........................

I have CRS too! Jami spent two weeks crying, the other dogs kept on looking at her in the crate as to say what is your problem. Then finally the third week she would sleep about three hours at a time at night but would wimper because she had to go potty. Happy Birthday vonissk.
Always,
Cee

Crys congrats to you for taking Miss Annie into your ome.  Thanks for the compliments--thank you too Tiffany.  Cee thanks for the birthday wishes--it was one of the bst--but back to CRS--maybe I can't remember the year before.  LOL.   Crating is going better but I am cheatinga little.  I have a Great Dane sized wire crate so I have been crating her wth her aunt , Sister, who is on the smaller side of the standard--about 66#s.  Sister seems not to mind and it has been really helping cut down the crying.  Today I got s first hand look at it--mky icebo went out and whn te guys brought it they asked that I put the dogs in the bedroom.  So I crated all 4 and the whole time the guys were here swapping out the boxes Mauli was very quiet.  I had to go to town later and did it again.  Got home and it was quiet in here.  I figure as she gets more used to being crated then I will seperate them.  Anyone see a problem with this?  If yo do or have suggestions please don't hesitate.  Thanks.
