The last of my litter of 12 leaves Saturday. My Sally had 10 her first litter and 12 her second litter. She had no problems delivering and was a super mom to her huge brood both times.
Fortunately half of them would sleep while the other half nursed so I didn't have to do much in terms of swapping them out...they kind of took care of that on their own. I did not have to supplement any of them but I did start solids sooner than with smaller litters.
The toughest challenge was not in the beginning but as they grew just moving around with out tripping or stepping on them and getting clamped on by 12 jaws! and loved on by all of them who wanted attention at the same time.
Good luck.... I'm sure if her mom was a good mom she will be too no matter how many she has.

I just can't imagine having such a big size litter again. I would be happy with just 6-7 pups myself. If Anka has more than 10 she is one heck of a fertile female, of course as well as my boy Zavien :-)
I can't wait to get this over so I can calm down from being stressed out about it all , in a good way of course :-) I know Anka will be a wonderful mom with her babies!!!
