I don't know how many pups your expecting, but my 2 females who gave anywhere from 7 to 13 pups, with the larger litters tended to go about 3-4 days early.  Temp always dropped below 98.0 degrees and then within 24 hours of the 97.X temp

Good luck!

8 Days and counting...............If's she going to have them early I think she should have them on Mother's Day....

That's 4 days early....

Please note that I would NEVER do anything to make her do this!!!

We did ultrasound to confirm and vet counted 10 but you have to give plus or minus 2 - vet said they are "packed" in there but were approperiate size & looked great. He really thinks she will have more than 10 but we will see. She's had large litters in the past for her previous owners and I only wanted 6 but won't complain as I have been waiting over 2 yrs for us to have another litter. This will be our 2nd litter in 3 yrs and I think I am MORE nervous with this litter than I was with my first REAL GSD litter 2007.

I'd had rescues and mixed breeds my whole life and when I was in middle school I got a Husky/GSD mix from a rescue & she was suppose to have already been spayed.....HA!
She ended up having 12 beautiful puppies & my mother came & pulled me from my classes to come home and help her with whelping. Mom & 12 babies moved into my room and we bottle fed them around the clock as she didn't produce much milk. All 12 survived but THAT was a long time ago and each female is sooooo different.
