As Don says, please post serious threads. Many, such as I, search for them. Even though the posters in such threads may be few, the kownledge in them is looked for, and read by many.  I do not know enough to add thoughts to such threads.  But they are why I visit this board.  I ignore the silly, frivolous posts, and search out the ones from which I can learn.

It's not just threads which get deleted. It's User Comments on individual dogs, too.

I recently posted condolences to the owner of a dog listed here in the database. In fact, I had the owner's permission to add a comment, she thought it would be "very nice" - perhaps just because in this way the little girl would not go without notice. She was just a year old when she passed away.

Someone - Oli? Moderator? Breeder? - didn't like it and the User Comment has now disappeared. All it said was how sorry I was about the sudden and untimely death of this very lovely female. It wasn't nasty, wasn't pornographic, wasn't critical, and didn't even include the probable cause of death.

What kind of place is this when even warm fuzzies can't withstand the censor's heavy hand?

I hope I have been able to give good advice in areas I know about, and people here have done the same for me. I have learned alot here and enjoy reading the posts. Some have brought a smile, and many a very loud laugh. Being able to talk to people who have been there and done that, for knowledge has been wonderful. Just imagine all the knowledge about this wonderful breed from all parts of the world speaks for itself. Please don't stop, my old brain is still working. Always, Cee
