WoW!! They are amazing and obviously, they LOVE what they are doing; running, climbing, jumping. It is as if they are part canine, part bear, and part bear! Cool video.

Jim, you could probably train one to hold the bad guys hands together behind their back as they beg you to put the hand cuffs on and pull the dog off!

It is a thing of beauty. (sigh) There was a time when the GSD was just as athletic and agile. But alas...

You mean you don't have to put a roof over your yard for a GSD? And they don't climb trees? DOH! Someone forgot to tell mine that.  I was actually trying to figure out  a way to roof-in my entire yard w/out having it look like a prison.

Great Video. Sooo true.

You can run but .. but ... ohhh hell, you can't even run.   LMAO

I'll have to make a video response to this one just for fun ...  Kudo's to the happy dogs.

"There was a time when the GSD was just as athletic and agile. But alas..."

The good ones still are. But GSD people seem to be much more scared of hip dysplasia and tend to not want to see their dogs jumping around too much, even when they're old enough...

I agree, Puputz. I let my dogs be dogs, within reason. I have flinched a few times when my GSD was playing Superman and decided to just jump 15 feet instead of taking the stairs....and he landed it just fine every time. I screamed, and he appeared to laugh at me, like "Geeeez Mom. CHILL. I got it covered." LOL. We are indeed overprotective. I wouldn't allow a dog to do things like this every day, but why oh why are we breeding such breakable dogs???  If people didn't act like everything would break their GSDs, perhaps we wouldn't tolerate such weakness and in turn breed stronger dogs. Just a thought.

Yes, it is a great testament to Malinois athletic ability, no problems there. The problem is, I feel sorry for Falun Gong, people of Tibet, Buddhist monks etc...cause that is exactly what they are being trained for. No sport there, just man hunting.
