BRITISH SIEGER 2009 - Page 3

Out of curiosity, how comes none of The British Sieger 2009 information is not on the 4 web site's first?  being BAGS, GSD League of Great Britian, Breed Council and the main one, 'The British Sieger'  web site, as that is where I always look.   I politely put this forward to the Chairman, Mr Andrew Winfrow, which by the way, I have ordered the book you have written out of interest, on The German Shepherd Dog.

Well done David for giving this information to us, I shall be looking on your site for now on, as I take it everything will go on the Videx web site.

It is always so very easy for those who DO NOT do ANY work towards PUTTING ON A SHOW on any committee to criticise those that do. Yes those who put themselves forward for committee;s the majority of times do have a thankless job, but they do need to realise that to put themselves forward means they are expected to do the necessary work required to hold a successful show and failure to do this means they WILL recieve critism and if they do a rubbish job they do need to be told but critism should be constructive not destructive.

However critisism comes in all shapes and sizes and is much easier to swallow coming from some than it is from others. But I can well imagine being critisised on just how badly you are doing by those who rarely, IF EVER, put themselves forward to do ANY TYPE of WORK ON ANYTHING to do with Showing, Working or the Welfare of the German Shepherd other than within the precincs of their own kennel, for some justifyably takes the biscuit .

If any of you who have rarely or never stepped up to the plate to get your hands busy doing actually working for a committee or towards putting on a show think you can do it better then STOP MOANING about it and prove you can do it better by getting onto a committee and doing it yourself. Then come back here after a few years of making plans on committee and actually executing those plans to produce a successful show and MOAN ALL YOU WANT, YOU WILL THEN HAVE EARNED YOUR RIGHT TO DO SO. At the moment its all too easy for some of you to moan , now see if its just as easy for you TO DO!!

Having read your post above, please could you enlighten who is moaning, as I don't see anyone moaning, just asking questions.   Just to let you know I have been on a committee and put a show on and what a successful show it was, and I enjoyed it.
