I "think" that is the one I tried joining a couple of years ago, and even contacted the webmaster without a reply.  It is very unfortunate that some boards can be clicky and keep their information to theirselves instead of letting the breed benefit by their expertise, regardless of what they may think of another person... it really should be all about the dogs. 

LOL. <shaking my head> You people are unbelievable. Do you really think that someone you don't even know is intentionally blocking you from joining a WEB FORUM? Wow; you take yourselves pretty seriously. I wait until I get kicked off a forum to assume someone doesn't like me (it happens fairly often).

Amysue...you state that you never got a reply. How do you know they even got your email w/the amount of spammers forums get every day? You also state that you don't even know if it was even that board, yet you jump on the bandwagon.

Actually, if I remember correctly, I called Steve up and asked why my membership wasn't approved. Turns out Pete or Boon had never even gotten my request. I had to apply again, and then Pete let me in. They are COMPUTERS, people...and they're all over the world. Rather than think yourselves soooooo controversial as to be not allowed, perhaps just do the logical thing and email someone (admin or mod.) until you get a response. As I said before, you are much more likely to be asked to leave (like, for example, if you fraternize with known dog abusers) than not allowed to join. Relax!

If I am not mistaken and remember me right, one is actual able to read the forum without being a member. You just miss out on some nice pictures from all over the world.

This quote is from the announcement section: "To all new members, it is requirement of the ddrlegends administration that all new members complete their profile providing Full name, address, location, upon completion their membership will be activated. I think you also have to e-mail the admin and tell about yourself a little.

You wont get kicked off for disagreeing in a discussion, but you defenitely will get kicked out for lying, scamming, fraud and not treating your dogs right.

well, I went to the DDRLEGENDS forum and signed up just to see if I would be accepted.  they accepted my account, it just needs to be activated by the administrator.   So maybe it is just a technical error like Jenni78 stated.

I saw that, Uber Land.

Wouldn't that make sense then that if the admin has no computer access, eaaalvarez hasn't been fully accepted? Any bot or person can sign up, but then a real person has to go through and decide who is real and who is a phisher or a bot. I'm sure it's just a techincal error.

All I can say is good luck to everyone wanting to join there. I've tried several times over the past few years. Even gotten so far as sent the personal info they want to activate your account. That was last summer....still waiting.........still not activated.........
