Long coat ? - Page 3

I bet he'll lose alot of that fluff. my last litter here, we had a female who I could have sworn was a longcoat. She was extremely fluffy clear up to 10 weeks old. then she started to blow her puppy coat. Hows the hair coming down his forehead? most long coat puppies will look like they have chow chow in them, the hair between the eyes will be alot longer.

the hair coming down the forehead is the shortest part of him other than his muzzle. He is realy super fun to have around and have never had  cleaner puppy ever. He was clean for his whole 14 hour flight and has not had a mistake since i have had him ( last friday) . So I am praying that is does all fall out i would not mind a plushy coat type boy.
I have had coats in some of my litters but i have never had a puppy that had hair like this before. Mine have always had a top coat and a undercoat and the tuffs coming out of the ears but NO hairy feet or leg fringes. HUMMMM to me i guess if it comes out the ears and looks collie type hair it is a coat to me. I asked his breeder if he was planing to repeat the breeding and if so when .. If he does not loose the hair i will likly try to get a stock coat then. SO we will see. I Will post pictures of him as he grows and see how he starts looking . I guess that when i asked for a breeding dog i was not expecting this to come out of the box. LOL. But he sure is fun.

I say Plush coat or as some of of say Stock Coat.

After looking at his picture in the database, he is definately not a long coat,

real cuttie, he looked like a long coat when he was very little, but that seems to have gone away!
