Thank You...  To all who are following "Anke's " story.  I am not a person that is very confrontational.  I don't go looking for trouble and I prefer the calm, quiet (as quiet as can be with 6 children).  This angered me terribly and dogs don't have voices of their own in these terms.  I did it for Anke, she is a great dog and every bit the same as I remember her as a 11 week old pup.  She is outgoing, strong, brave and very determined.  She is going to be a great working dog.  She is definately in need of a job to do... she is running rings around the kennel we have her in.  I'll bring her in the house in a bit.  I am anxious and nervous for court.  I will be glad when this chapter is over and I can relax with a nice HOT cup of coffee... LOL  A fingerprinting session for a CCW was enough of the Jail for me  .

Thanks Again

Shannon,

I am very happy for you and Anke. I have watched your story since back in September. This is excellent that she is finally home with you and your family. Good luck in court!

Keep us updated!

Thanks again to all...

Thursday we are going to start her in just a basic obedience class... to see where we are at and see how well she was socialized.  We have had her out today and she is fearless...

i'm so happy to hear anke's home!  what are ordeal for the both of you.  i'm such a baby - reading about her barking and pulling because she recognized you made me cry - told i was a baby - i love a happy home comings.  i wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being one of the best dogs you ever had, if for no other reason then she's so happy to be home. best of luck getting her up to speed.

 Shannan,

I have been following your story on here and must say that you are amazing in your determination to seek justice. Your pup is beautiful and I hope and pray she makes a quick adjustment to your home.

Good luck in court today. Let us know the results of the litigation. Hopefully, justice will finally be served for the other victims of this woman.

Thank You again to all of you who have been supportive and had kind words. I had to take a day off to "unwind" all the stress from Wed.  She did show up... WOW, I bet a lot of people wagered on her NOT showing up.  I did.

The judge had all intentions of making her return the dog but since I already had recovered the dog myself, he ruled satisfied.  He could tell there was more to the case so he is sending out the paperwork to me and her for another hearing to hear the "whole" story.  He told me to save the information for then, he knows I had more I wanted him to hear.  She would not shut up!!  Keeping my mouth shut and looking professional was REALLY difficult.  Twist, twist, twist....  She tried to return the dog for 90 days, CRAP she knows where I live.  Her father dropped dead in the kitchen and she couldnt keep the dog.  The stories were endless...  the judge was getting irritated...  but thats where we are.  Waiting for another hearing.  Thats OK though....  I am not done yet, but I can relax a little.  The dog is home.

Shannan    :)
