Mystere

by Mystere on 09 February 2009 - 18:02

Schutzhund, as well as Ring, become  "lifestyles," too.

Liability is something we all as dog owners need to address and deal with ourselves. I worry about my liabilities, you should worry about yours, it does me no good to have a heart attack worrying about every Tom, Dick and Harry.

Excuse me for caring!  Won't happen again.

4pack:

In your own words "can,t you take a little jab" ?

Each persons venue is unique lets just lay off the sarcasium.

Well I see Mystere you changed your post to sound less bitchy so I wont post what I had intended. Actually I should have not even commented on this thread, I don't care enough to argue. Wasn't my topic nor is it my board they are advertising. Some of you just can't get over yourselves or your sport. Me, I'm open to any venue, whatever interestes me and whatever I think my dog might enjoy or accel at. I poke fun at all of them and everybody, if you all are too uptight to deal, get laid or eat a chocolate bar. I've visited convalecent homes more upbeat than this board lately.

Snickers bar....damn that sounds good right about now!

4pack:

If you don,t want your ship boarded don,t fire across my bow... (is that deep or what) hahaha

It,s not being up tight to see the obvious sarcasium in that post...

and if you tell me where I,ll send you a box of King size snickers, I prefer mine in  the freezer for a hour...

Excellent post, Snajper69.  There are defintely pros and cons within all the sports, talking about which is "better" is as stupid as little kids singing "my dogs better than your dog".

I suspect the reason Bob & Mystere worded their original responses the way they did is they,  (like me) are sick and tired of Internet trainers bitching about schutzhund.  Those that are the loudest, and most obnoxious are talking out of their asses because they have never participated in the sport or maybe came to a club once or twice (unless you can count watching videos on the net as a real learning experience).   I have no problem listening to someone who has "been there, done that" but the rest are nothing but uneducated opinions and as the saying goes "just like assholes, everybody has got one".

Patrick Murray, I wish you a lot of luck in all your endeavours, I hope your new message board is successful.  Hopefully it will garner attention in it's own right rather than from your having to take cheap shots at other dog sports/activities.

Wow!  What a sensitive bunch you are.

Schutzhund is a wonderful activity for dogs and their handlers to work and compete.  I have friends who compete in Schutzhund and I would never knock what they do just like I wouldn't knock them for enjoying most other recreational activities.  But my friends (PSD handlers, PPD trainers, etc.) understand that training a dog to compete on the Schutzhund field is not the same as training a dog for the real-world.  Believe it or not, there are so-called "trainers" that claim to train personal protection when, in fact, all they are really doing is training more Schutzhund.  That is "twisted".

My gawd, nothing "sensitive" about it, just sick and tired of know nothing idiots knocking what they don't "get".  If you don't want to do schutzhund GREAT good for you, have fun doing whatever the fuck it is you do.  Oh and this might come as a real shock to you, but there are also shitty trainers in ALL venues including yours.

Stay classy sueincc!
