This has nothing to do with Steve Leigh. This has nothing to do with Steve Leighs website. This has to do with anonymous people who come on PDB and destroy threads. Steves websote doesn't' have anything to do with this website.

First of all , before you judgementally say Hate is being spread by Steve, take an open minded look into his website and see why it originated..It was from lies in messages put  on several public message forum boards including Frawleys..Steve did nothing but capture the messages and rebutt them and refute the lies.  

An excellent example is Rambos (go capture the original webpage)  falsification  that Steve Leigh put a Schutz 111  on his dog two years before the dog was born.   Would you sit idly by and let untruths be printed on a board and not capture them and rebutt them.?

This is how the website was born. Then 7 years of adding  funny pages and hilarious sattire began to be applauded all over the world,

It is not about Steve Leigh at all. It is about the trolls that come here to destroy and make havoc with the personal attacks on everyone.

Some people need to grow up and deal with thier own shit.    You make the mess, you clean it up !

Stop whining for someone else to make it all go away.   

Moderators !!     If you can't cope on an internet website how in the hell do you make it in real life?

I don't care whos bashing whom.......... in the grand scheme of things it don't mean shit.

I agree NO also.  Giving too much power to those who don't deserve it is a bad idea.  They will take advantage of it and start deleting post just from certain people etc. as they have already shown that they can do!  OLI just needs to pay better attention to his forum and stop things from getting out of control.  I'm very proud to have the moderators that I do on my forum.  We have never had a problem and hopefully never will!  It's been a year now and only 2 people have been banned from ever coming back.  One because of a nasty post and the other was a person who I know personally and know that she would have torn the forum down if she could have!  Other than that we have an awesome bunch of people on there and they are keeping it clean and fun!!!!!!!!!!

       I say YES, not to combat difference of opinions, "BUT TOTAL, BLATANT ATTACKS "on some, slanderous remarks that have nothing to do with German Shepherds, should be deleted PROMPTLY!!

     This is the German Shepherd Database...Anyone with an interest in GERMAN SHEPHERDS, should be able to come here to learn, and ask questions. It should not be used as a bashing board.

    And YES, I have ENDURED multiple attacks and would have LOVED someone to step up and take that CRAP off. I used to send people here to RESEARCH, but no longer do that. Anytime someone has a BEEF with you, they are WELCOME to come here and BASH AWAY.

     I am not opposed to the occassional OT's that get posted, or the exposing a bad breeder (which also is debateable-but debate is not Slander).

       The Board should not be used or accesable to those that have nothing to contribute, whether right, wrong, or indifferent. regarding the German Shepherd Dog.

     We should Welcome those that come here to learn, as I have over the years I have been here. I Love the Database!

ps. I have learned that exposing the IP's is not an option. All you have to do is unplug your computer for awhile, and you can get a new IP

I have read and been a member here for many years, I rarely post and when I do; it is as myself.  Yet not so long ago, I was blatently accused, along with another innocent party (Not to our faces either, may I add) of posting on a thread here as someone else.

I agree that something has to be done.  People come here to read, and learn about the breed that we all love.  Yet we have to wade through countless trolling posts and waist high crap, to find anything decent.  There will always be the people that come here for the drama, but the drama is driving away the people serious about the breed and with a thirst for knowledge.

Unbiased moderation from individuals outside of the breed, is the only real option.  before this board becomes more of a laughing stock than it already is.
