 Belgium?

Um, I happen to speak both American and Canadian LOL so I just gotta ask: do you mean 14 degrees below 0 Fahrenheit?  Or do you mean minus 14 degrees Celsius?  At least here, when you say "14 below" you mean Fahrenheit, but if you say "minus 14" you mean Celsius (and you mean 14 degrees below freezing).  I thought Americans were the only ones still speaking Fahrenheit.

Freezing occurs at 0 degrees Celsius and at 32 degrees Fahrenheit (above 0).

-14 degrees Celsius isn't nearly as cold as -14 degrees Fahrenheit.  Minus 14 degrees Celsius = 6.8 degrees above zero Fahrenheit.  14 degrees below zero Fahrenheit is -25.6 degrees Celsius, which I think is quite cold for a pup with just a small blanket on a cold kennel floor.  I'm hoping you meant 14 degrees below freezing, Celsius.

ETA: I'm sure it depends on what the pup is used to, though.  I do want to say, she's adorable!!!  Congrats!

Jayne

To us in England 0 is Minus, and i put it as Fahrenheit for the benifit of the folk in the USA

That day it was then 14 below 0 Fahrenheit,

Today i will go back to Celsius

it is today  minus 3 degs Celsius, or 3 degs below Freezing Celsius,

what that  is in Fahrenheit i do not have any idea without looking it up

But 3 degs Below Celsius is not so bad, it is the North Wind blowing which makes it feel  colder

The outside Tap is still froze solid, and the Training Field from where i have just come home from was Frozen hard,

Not good but we did the work, but after standing out in it for three hours this morning that is enough i think for one day

"Yes, it is 14 F Below Freezing today, and i live in Limburg, Belgium not over far from the Ardennes"

This is the part I don't understand.  I'm just confused, you don't have to explain if you don't want to, but 14 deg below freezing is not 14 deg below 0 in Fahrenheit...  freezing is at +32 degrees Fahrenheit, not at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

I just now saw that the kennel is enclosed and insulated.  I'm sure you are taking excellent care, I'm just a newbie and don't mean to question your ability to take care of her.  She's adorable!   :)
