Don't worry about the pink pads!  I think the majority of puppies at that age have pink pads, I have had a litter of solid blacks with pink pads and pink noses and they ALL turned black!  Noses within a couple of days of being born and then pads turned black not long after their eyes opened.  They will turn black.....just watch!

Your pup is very cute but I could not help but notice the sire is not even 2 yrs old yet and all ready sired a litter???????????? on top of no titles but he is young. I also do not see any hip rateing.  I do wish you the best of luck with your new pup but I wish people who breed would follow the SV rules that are required before breeding.

WHY must someone ALWAYS take a Positive, and turn it into a Negative?

Good luck with your new pup ShepherdWoman. I hope you have as much fun with it as you have had with Chaos.

I agree, the color looks real nice.

Denise,

Before commenting, did you happen to see that the person who posted the website and sire has nothing to do with the puppy? Did you notice that they couldn't post who the mother was? Perhaps because there are 3 to choose from. Only a 'guess' at the sire based on the fact that he is the only intact male. Also, Germany isnt exactly innocent in breeding underage dogs themselves. They can't register them, but they are there. We live in America where all you have to do is have one dog with papers and your neighbor have another. It isnt right, but its true. In fact, at least one poster to this thread has bred an underage, untitled male themself, multiple times and on purpose. The sire guess was correct, but not for the reasons that have been assumed.

Everyone else,

thank you for your comments! I admit to being surprised at how the litter turned out. They are each better than I had anticipated. As you may have guessed, I was teasing Anna by posting here. I bred this litter. By bred, I mean I own both parents. I did purchase this female to breed to this male, my intention, however, was to breed her to him after he was titled. His hips have had both pre-lim and final x-rays. Once his Bescheinigung has arrived and I can get the appropriate notarizations, his pink papers will be on their way to Germany for an a-stamp (the otarization is so that I can simultaneously send in for AKC registration). They are expected to go a-normal (this based by the opinion of both the vet and an orthopedic specialist). The female was prelimed in the country she came from. Her official xrays have also been taken and once her 3 gen. pedigree arrives from the CKC they too will be sent for an a-stamp. They, as well, are expected to go a-normal (based on the opinion of the vet and a board certified radiologist). Long story short this female was to be bred to Karat's Jambo right before NASS. When Jambo wasn't brought back for NASS, I changed plans to a local SchH3, kkl1, V rated male with a1 hips. I took her to said male and she wouldn't stand for him. In fact, she tried to take him out. So, the stud owner and I agreed that she wasn't ready and we would try again in 2 days. When I got home I put her in the yard (my male was kenneled) and started loading dogs in the truck for agility. Im sure you can see where this is going. My innocent baby boy wasn't so innocent and he ripped the kennel fencing off of the door frame (it still isnt fixed, if anyone wants pics!) and I had two mated dogs. So, I emailed the people I had bought both dogs from, got their opinions as well as that of several german breeders and collectively we decided to go ahead and if a litter happened from the one breeding, so be it.

61 days later 4 new lives entered the world. Each puppy was immediately checked by a licensed vet and veterinary technician. All were healthy andd without defect. Each puppy is going to its new home fully guaranteed. If you ask Anna (ShepherdWoman) what she is paying or ask Goofus, im sure the answer will surprise you. I am more interested in good homes for these unplanned little miracles than money. 3 of the 4 are going to schutzhund homes (2 of these 3 will be shown, the third is going back to the country of the mothers birth to the woman who raised the mother), the other is going to be a SAR dog. All to people whom I know personally and who have either lost dogs recently or had dogs with HD that the breeders wouldn't stand behind. Oh yes, why did I say to ask what they are paying? Its because they are paying nothing. They are getting solid German lines from import parents for nothing except the promise to return the dog if they cannot keep it. Sometimes it isnt about the money. Sometimes it isnt about the best of plans gone wrong. Poop happens and I, for one, believe you are judged by how you deal with that. All of these pups will have fine homes and be used to their fullest potentials. I couldn't ask for any better.
