Nicole, I do not have a formula, I just keep a spray bottle handy for hair balls from my long hair cat {on my WHITE carpet!!!} And of course I have two girls and their juice ALWAYS jumps out of their cups!!! However I only have 2 rooms in the house that have carpet, so if I am cleaning the carpets and rugs, I use industrial strength from a chemical company, mixed with dawn dish soap, 1 part Dawn to every 10 HP. I do not dilute it with water, but make sure I wear shoes because you will be in a world of hurt if it makes contact with your skin. I make sure everyone is gone for the day, and the dog is outside also. WORKS GREAT & does NOT bleach anything, NO odor, and once it drys everything seems so fresh & clean. I usually do this once every two months or so.
