My girl, Sasha is 3 years old now, and still a bit of puppy in her. Incredible prey drive and athleticism, but lacking interest in displaying the civil aggression required for protection work. Her bark is the most blood-curdling hair-raising sound I've heard from any german shepherd, and her very wide head lends to a very crushing bite that I've caught my hand in a few times. She's very possessive of the items I've used to train her with, so obedience work has been difficult.
Without titles, I bred her earlier this year to Faro Policia. She had a single male pup, who's currently in training with Ivan Balabinov, and I've held a female very much like her mother, but more direct aggression.

Djon, that was very well said, and so right too.
AmbiiGSD your Evo is too cute!!! and sounds just like my 3 that I held back from my last litter. They will have nothing to do with food from other people. Their mom was a one owner dog and very civil as she was my PPD.
The 3 that I still have out of my female's litter they have Rex v Haus Iris in their 3rd generation, and of course Don v Rolandsteich in their 4th, Golf v Ritterberg in their 5th, and in their 6th they have a few Haus Himpel, and Ingo v Rudigen, as well as many more well known DDR dog's in their pedigree's. Are they full DDR? no, but they are 88.5% DDR and the rest is west working.
Here are the 3 that I held back
This is Anka
Her sister Askia
And their brother Arro

Funky Munky,
Thank you for the wonderful compliments. The picture of Rookie your referring to was take on his 1st birthday. He is my Hunk..
Umi is a showline female, and crossed with the DDR they are such good, solid, well rounded dogs. Umi adds a touch of elegance to them and excellent conformation. I am so pleased with the litter.
Here is a picture I received last night of the female black and red pup and her buddy..

Nice pup Kim. Rookie and Umi sure are a nice cross. I have said it several times and I will say it again...I think that the DDR/showline cross is the best of both worlds. Tht is a very nice female pup...I think she may even turn out to be a bi color...not sure though.

I chose to take my bitch Barbie (pretty much west german working lines) to a DDR male, Lux Kamerunner Eck (spelling), for my last litter. I was seeking the independence and desire of the dog to work on its own, along with drive and stable temperment. Barbie has lots of drive but sometimes is to handler oriented for my preferences, she also has a great temperment. It is now almost two years later and observing the litter grow up I see that I made the correct decision.
I kept back a bicolor male for myself to be my next police dog and he is everything I was hoping for. He has his own mind, does not mind thinking for himself, rock solid temperment, great drives in both defence and prey with a nice balance. He is not as fast to mature as a lot of dogs but that is to be expected coming from two slow to mature bloodlines.
His sisters are great and I will be waiting until they get their OFA X-rays to decide between them as they are so close. His brother that my husband wanted to work a bit is nice but not quite as handler hard as Claus but just as good drives and work ethic.
I really love the independance and persistance. While most are clever claus and one of his sisters turned out scary smart. I am looking forward to a lot of fun in the next few years.

Hi guys,
These are my most favorite 2 dogs,
Sam & Theo> Sam is serious has her companion dog, I was going to do bitework with Sam but didn't want
a loaded gun laying around my house with kids coming & going, she took to it way to serious, as in police dog
serious, I just want a nice companion dog, when I pat Sam and the other dogs head over to me to be patted also,
Sam growls at them, cause she's #1 Bitch, when I play with the garden hose & spray the other dogs, Sam jumps
on their backs and tells them "Knock it off, you're acting like fools!" I guess Sam just keeps things in order.
Theo came back to me after a messy divorce, and I later figured out the lady's husband abused him, I decided
to not part with Theo again, and socialized the heck out of him, gave him back his confidence, but when I attempted
to introduce Theo to bitework, he had strong avoidance, not shy or timid, he just laid down when the man tried to
get him to play tough o' war and theo just looked away. Theo now does obedience and visits the elderly as a therapy dog,
the man that abused Theo was a bit older than I, so I think we may bump into him at a nursing home someday,
what comes around goes around
