I would not spend that much on a pup. Sorry but I been lucky not paid over 800.00 with full papers and no I do not breed, but I just looked long enough to find a good dog at a descent price over 2 years for my last one.

Funky your on the button..!
I Know I payed a lot of money some years ago from a top breeder at the time................. but later found out that what he called a dead cert was what i would pass on as a pet! look guy's we in the breed all know especialy on the irish and uk side of the pond ( "just because it seems worse over here") that we have seen the best of dogs gettin knocked because they were from nobodies.... hold on to your money and be happy with your own choices pup. A pup up for critique on this forum and its the most honest review you will ever get! the people who know ,know! the people who dont charge lots of money!

Liz,
My problem is people like yourself who post the stupid and obvious and think that you are contributing to a discussion. I am sure that this is difficult for someone like yourself to understand. You might try to learn how to spell words before you actually type them in a sentence.

by funky munky on 31 October 2008 - 17:10
OGBS, I do hope you are not singling me out as there are others posted here who have stated much the same,OH! and your contribution to the discussion was, yes i remember, DRIVE ON THROUGH,or something like that. That is one hell of a contribution.I was going to do a spelling check before posting this but i'll leave that to OGBS who seems to think IT knows it all, NOT. In reply to your first sentence of your last post, IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!!!!! Has it taken you all day and all night to come up with your reply? Oh! dear, and what a valuable contribution that was. LMFAO. liz

can any one tell me how to find the spell check and get it to work? i to would like to look like i can spell good too.

by funky munky on 31 October 2008 - 18:10
Wuzzup, don't you worry about your spelling,we can't all be smart arses, but if you really want to do a spell check click on the ABC with the tick on the top line above your message box, then, if asked to, click to install spell check. That's you ready to go!!!!! liz

Yes, I would pay $3500, but that is very close to my limit. If the parents produce what I am after, and I'm nuts about them physically, mentally, and genetically, if the puppy looks to be an excellent representation of them, and the pup is guaranteed against any fault that would prevent a breed survey. Could I afford it right now? lmfao, hell no. But if the time came, yes, I would pay it. It probably is too much, but can you put a price on investing in your breeding program?
That said, take a peek at the 4k SchH1 thread. Do you think breeding these dogs is cheap? It's an insult to think you can buy a puppy for less than what it cost a breeder to bring that puppy into existence. If you don't title your dogs, you can laugh yourself all the way to the bank, you have no idea.
And before anyone accuses me of ripping off buyers, the most I've ever sold a pup for to date is $1500, with better guarantees than most self proclaimed reputable breeders. And I will say any young puppy $5k plus is robbery.
