You might try hyaluronic acid for your old boy. It's a compound that is similar to the lubrication healthy joints produce and it comes in a capsule in the US. I use it myself and it helps. Orthopedic surgeons inject it into gimpy knees (people's knees) when surgery is not an option.

Sam1427, thanks for the info, I'll have a look online hyaluronic acid's not something I've heard of before... if it doesn't help Buddy... maybe I can use it!!
Liz, LOL yeah, I love it down here and I would not swap my friends etc (I don't think could cope with a Scottish winter now) but my heart & soul belong to Scotland... odd isn't it? I guess it really is in the blood.
Where abouts are you? Were you at the 2 day?
