Cello: Quana progeny (Palme >Xaver)

Zamb: Ica (heamangio line via Axel > Odin ( hence Palme > Xaver via Quando )

Anett you have Palme again via Uran

You also have the following in addition to what you state;

  • 5 - 5............................................. in V Quana von Arminius  (Palme > Xaver)

  • 5,5,5 - 5,5....................................... in VA6 Odin von Tannenmeise (Palme> Xaver)

    If it was hemangiosarcoma (generally, involving cancer of the spleen--that perforates and hemorrhages into the abdomen), it was problably unrelated to his bloodlines--JMHO.

    Regardless of bloodlines, hemangiosarcoma is a frequent cause of death in male GSD's fo Erasmus' age--WL's, SL's. American-bred,etc.

    8 into 7= 56. That means he was 56 years old in human years. Poor dog, he passed away away at a young age. My condolences to the breeder and owner. Its always tough to lose a loved one. May his soul rest in peace! :) Eramus will be remember for generations to come!

    That's very sad news, he was a stunning dog.  At 8yrs he should not have been having age related problems.  As a family we have had three GSD's in the past 3 yrs that have all passed on just 2mths short of 13yrs, all staying active until the end.

    Most age related conditions can be managed with medication, as said though, this seems to be a common age for tumours of the spleen,etc to take a dog.

    I guess a very active show life, including Shutzhund training & stud work must all take it's toll on a dog though.  His owners must be heartbroken.
