I can tell you that I have done 2 heart sticks when I was a senior veterinary technician. They were VERY quick and there was no noticeable pain! When done correctly it is so quick and I would equate the pain factor to be about the same as an euth. done by IV. Heart sticks are an evil necessity sometimes!
