Now that was impressive. Very nice, huge pup, he is larger than my 13 week old. I'd like to see him get rewarded a little bit more at that age but still nice job. Super drive on that little guy. WOW!

this question is for zacsmum
Not quite sure about the "out" being associated with pain though? I thought to myself when i saw the video a month back that the trainer is not really teaching the dog to out actually what my opinion was that he makes more drive by keeping it active and the pup don't feel he is being punished if that's what pain is to you. This pup is being trained in a different way than the other puppy totally different concept i think this trainer wants active power he don't do the food thing and does not prays the pup with the normal good puppy thing but with his ability to maintain an unbelievable attention and prey drive to any type of objects Can you reply on your input so i can understand. thanks

BTW.
The second video looks like a scent pad to me.
Same way I start my tracking. Simply basics. Continuing drive for the food and the scent... just watched a few seconds of the video... I do the same with my pups. Scent PADs as I call them... sometimes connecting pads. I never start my dogs in a straight line, they need to learn food comes from the ground and the difference between broken (scented) and not broken (not scented) ground.
Good looking obedience... it is fun to see what young dogs can do. I still love the video I had of the pup that went to a friend in Maryland doing the send out by that age... it was the CUTEST thing... he'd be so exhausted he'd grab the toy and lay down right after :-) Great way to teach platz hahahaha.
The sire is a wonderful dog. The young lady is a great gal if I do say so myself. I enjoyed my visit to her club a few months ago and occasionally she is training out my way. Lots of knowledge and she is great with the dogs.
Cheers and congrats on the great work girl!!! Hope the sire's owner saw this... I'll send him the link just in case he hasn't!

It's really very simple. The puppy has very good temperament, and the trainer has done some very good work. Plus the puppy is very nice looking too.
