The whole subject of genetics is steeped in countless come-and-go hypotheses, theories and red herrings (as abundant in fact as the number of ivory tower academics seeking to establish reputations or needing – provoking? - material for their latest book); almost all of it quite useless to the practical GSD Breeder. You often also find that these elite are quick to discount the brain’s hierarchical structure, its immense powers per se, higher level reasoning abilities and ancestrally inherited instincts, as well as its ability to influence body’s workings more generally. (Convince yourself you need to visit doctor because of some medical malady and your brain somehow energizes appropriate genes/proteins etc for the body to start healing itself – at least where within its capacity to do so.) Freud, peers modern equivalent behavioral disciplines, including neurological experts, might as well not exist as far as most our geneticist novel-writing chaps are concerned!

That's got to be the most words I've ever read that say absolutely nothing.
