Angela Kovacs, vompattonk9 and Yellow Rose:

If you don't mind my asking, what are you feeding?  Yellow, I think I know what you feed but I'm asking anyway to be sure.

Thanks!

LOL.  Hidden on the desk.  That's kind of like my "put up somewhere safe", isn't it?  As in...never to be seen again.

Thanks, Yellow.  I was pretty sure you fed predominately raw.  It shows in that picture.  Lovely, healthy looking girl.

I don't need the link to the Naturals Recipe you referred to but thank you for the offer.  Others might benefit from the information, though.  (I prep my own.  Tomorrow....140 lbs. to be cut up, weighed, packaged and put up.  On the one good day of weather we have this week.  Doesn't that just figure?  LOL)

FIONNADUNN

WE FEED CALIFORNIA NATURAL AS WELL AS A HALF RAW DIET OF CHIX NECKS, BACKS, AND LEG QUARTERS, BEEF BONES, AND VARIOUS THINGS SUCH AS MACKAREL IN A CAN,  MINCED GARLIC, FLAXSEED, ETC WE TRY TO MIX IT UP HOWEVER THE DOGS STRIVE ON IT WELL.  I REALLY FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT THE CANNED MACKAREL I NOTICED VERY SHINY AND BRIGHT EYES WHEN USING THREE TIMES A WEEK.  ALSO WE WILL GIVE RAW MEATBALLS THAT WE HAVE A WONDERFUL RECIPE FOR THAT THE DOGS LOVE AND KEEPS A NICE WEIGHT ON THEM.  THANKS FOR ASKING.

Thanks, vomPattonk9.

Again, I kind of figured that you fed at least a good portion raw from the look of your dogs.  It shows.  Bright eyes, and coats that look clean and healthy.

Yeah.  Mine always loved the canned mackerel as does Giza now.  It's great for them despite being "cooked".

Your meatball recipe...is that the Satin Ball recipe?

I don't use it except rarely (think underweight rescues) because of the grains, but I've seen it work wonders on quite a few dogs.
