I'm hoping to get that picture updated soon. It's hard to get a good shot when you don't have any friends who are dog people to help with the camera or stacking.

And, a couple of non-pedigree GSD's...as a friend of mine once said, "The papers are here!" [pointing to his heart.]
Tasha, rescued from the streets of Scarborough at the age of 9 months. Woilfgang Klose of Havelberg Dog Academy, who used to train police dogs in Germany took one look at her, and said, "She looks like the old-fashioned type of German Shepherd, like we used to raise in Germany, after the war." She lived to be 14 years old.
BTW, this was taken on our first wedding anniversary. We went to the Highland Games, in Fergus, Ontario. OF COURSE we had to take the dog along!

Ranger, rescued from life on the end of a chain, in the Gatineau region of Quebec. He's my Hearing Ear dog, and now that I live alone, my protector. He is most likely from German working lines.
