Unfortunate that I stumbled on this thread after consuming a full bottle of Robert Mondavi Cabernet. LOL

I wondered if anyone else had picked up on the "RIchie Cunningham thing.  Hey Don, my best regards to the Fonz when you see him.  And, to paraphrase another sitcom, "Y'all come back now Y'hear.?  (I mean that part seriously.)

Some people take themselves WAAAY too seriously.  When they start handing out Nobel prizes for dogs, then you can justify that attitude IMO.  Until then, " It ain't rocket science!" 

BTW lilmeg,  Any takers on that "awesome" dog, Yukon?   Take a few lbs. off him and I might be interested as a pet for my nephew.

Yukon is sold to a working home where he needs to go and would be best suited.   NOt sure how sickly thin you want him to look but I prefer my dogs to be fit not sickly.  He is perfect weight.  You nephew could not handle Yukon.  He is a very strong hard dog.

We were extremely picky about where he was to go and I believe we have found the best home possible.

Come on everyone...it doesn't have to be this way. 

I enjoy diversity in these threads.  Don is about lightening up some of the (pardon) "boring" ones just a bit.  Because it may be boring to some though does not mean it lacks informational content for others.  So, in the end, don't we all manage to gain something from most of the threads?  Heck, I do.

Sometimes, a few threads may get a little out of control but, hey you don't have to respond to the posts that are going the opposite way in which you want them.  I understand if you were the one who initiated the particular thread that it may be a little unnerving but, can't you ignore the posts that offend you?

I really do look forward to the information.  That is my main reason for being here.  But, I do enjoy the easy, light banter with fellow gsd lovers...even if it is off topic a bit. 

So, come on everyone.  Hodie, there are many here that look forward to your posts.  I hope you continue.

Don, I know there are many that love your light hearted teasing, etc.  I for one look forward to it.  Albeit, sometimes, I have to really think if you're serious or not but hey, that's part of the fun of it.  lol

Don-  I never found your posts to be offensive but rather comical.  But then again, I guess everyone has their own perception of what is "funny".  In any case, I vote you stay as you do have a serious side and do post some good info in the midst of all the wise cracks. There's nothing wrong with livening things up on the board now and then.

don-i am not going to beg you to post on here.  i am going to tell you that you shouldnt let someone tell you what to do.

hodie-you were posting an ad on the message board.  don was screwing around with you because you did so.  he even said he was busting your balls.  don screws around half of the time.  he lightens up the board from its usual bickering and mindless posts.  the other half of his posts are very informative.  in fact, he posts more information on here in one month than you in your existance on this board.  don did not come on your thread and call you anything vulgar and say to take you ad and shove it up your ass because it doesn't belong here.  he simply made a joke.  you took him seriously and he made another joke.  you offended him and he got serious.
