Hi guys

sorry I havnt logged on, the last few days have been unbelievable. I had 6 dogs to do yesterday but then my daughter was called out on a family emergency and that slowed me way down, I didnt get out of the shop til after 8, then had to go groc shopping, come home clean ohuse cook dinner, didnt eat dinner til midnight lol all the stress and energy I didnt hit my bed til 3 am, got up today at 6:30 and am just now ditting down again, an hour after my bedtime.

The dogs are doing great, very very happy to get some attention again, they seem none the worse for the experience other than forgetting all their manners, but that will come back quickly with a little reminding. 2 of the pups were placed today with a friend of mine, they will have awonderful home with a full acre of fenced yard to play in as well as an 11 yr old and a 15 year old, both girls, to spoil them. The new owners have had several shepherd int he past and after spending 2 hours with them and the pups and watching how they interact, I have every confidence in the world that this is the perfect home for these 2.

The dogs will go tothe vet wed, that is the first chance I have to get a little time, and that is if  my daughter ( bather/manager) doesnt book me to the gills with dogs, holiday season is a very busy time for groomers it would seem lol. If you want the vet info just pm me, I prefer not to plaster his name on the net lol to many weirdos out there.

I am exhausted to say the least and I think all this energy is from stress, I know I have to crash soon i am just hoping it will wait until I close shop for the holiday lol

Just so you know, I tried to put money on the Wal Mart card at my local WalMart, and two different cashiers did not know how to do it and told me to go to the Customer Service section and ask for the manager.  They said only she could do it, and not the regular cashiers at the counter at customer service.  So, I went there and stood in line behind seven people, and when I finally got to the counter, I was told they did not know how to do it, and that the manager was not available and would be back in one hour.

I left, and will do it tomorrow if at all possible.

I also tried online at Wal Marts web site and it can not be done.

Sounds par for the course at the walmarts      They hire the  minimum wage workers and unbelieveable the service desk didnt know how    They sell them at the service desk.....the woman in Jacksonville that sold me the card, told me its as easy as pie...well the pie makers at the walmart you went to ,need to be schooled...Id speak to the managaer.... Call ahead and ask to speak to him before you make a trip there...they have three managers on duty....or they suppose to ....unbelievable...

You have to put money on your own card to get the lower gas price , or you cant buy the lowest price at walmart....Its a simple gift card....you add money anytime you want to.....send your kids to college, mom and dad go to walmart and add a $100.00    or twenty dollars anytime they want to .....alll  you need to do is put in the number and the register does the rest....

My dogs could figure that out....

I carry a gift card with me and when Walmart has the lowest price  , I go in   add $50.00 to the card, go out and use it to buy the gas at the lowest posted price....if you dont use your card...you pay 3 - 4 cents a gallon more....

Sorry you are having a problem.....Find a manager....

Is there an address that we could send a gift card to? I've never had any luck with anything there, when I asked about adding $ to the card with the ###, they said, "No, we have to swipe the card"....

YellowRose:  Yea, I would assume it is easy, but as Kalibeck stated, I think the difference is that when you add money to your own card, they can swipe it instead of just having the numbers. 

I am too lazy to do it, but my wife puts money on a card for her and I to buy Wal Mart gas and save the few cents per gallon. She even got cards with the picture of our grandchildren on it.  I guess they can do that in the photo department of Wal Mart, and you can use it over and over.  Seems like most business's that have gas pimps, now have a card that let's you save a few cents per gallon.  Kroger Food Store and Speed Way Gas Stations here do it, along with Wal Mart.

Going there again today, stand in line, and try again.  I will PM you or Shandra with the info if I am successful.  If not, I will send it by homing pigeon.  

A funny story.  I went to Wal Mart awhile back and bought two hand rails for the walls of our showers (at the gym where I work part time), and went back the next day to purchase four more of the exact same thing, and the price had went up $5.00 each.  They cost 35 bucks on Tuesday and then 40 bucks on Wednesday.  I asked why and they said that they did not know, but that is how they are "ringing up".  I showed them the receipts and the exact hand rails that I had bought the day before (they were still in my truck), and they just didn't have an answer.  Since it was not my money anyway , I went ahead and bought the others at the higher price, as we needed them to be matching.

I still love Wal Mart though, even though many do not mostly because they are non union.  I have never liked unions anyway, even though I was in one for my career.  I do think that they are necessary, but like many good ideas, they can become bad quickly.

Too be honest, if I owned a large business (like that would ever happen!), I would not permit a union to exist there, but would "do right" by my employees, so that it was not necessary.  There are many business' that do exactly that and the employees are very happy.

No sir  you are wrong   you do not need the card     they put the number you give them in the register and they put it in twice...

the register does the rest      YOU DO NOT NEED THE CARD TO ADD MONEY TO IT...ALL YOU NEED IS THE NUMBER.....

iF YOU WILL TELL ME WHICH WALMART TOLD YOU ALL THEY COULDNT DO IT
