Vikki--I guess we posted simultaneously...making my http: advice somewhat redundant. I'm slow today--in more ways than one. (LOL)

OK Vikki---I see your dog's DI view. Tight fit. Now, I'll have to contemplate what would happen to a dog with not such a tight fit. (Those wheels just keep turning....can't help it. LOL) Let me think on it for awhile.

LMH-Look at the rest of my PICS-you will see that Zeke's hips did not move very much on the distraction view. We are at the vets- when the x-rays are done-dogs walk out to the van afterwards. We have never had a dog sore or show any discomfort from the PennHips method. By the way-Zeke was coming into season the day we took PICS.
I don't know anything about the pet center-just don't believe everything you read on the Net. We have done over 20 PennHip x-rays and have not have a problem.
My suggestion to LHM is to find a vet that does PennHip and go in and talk to the Vet-see if they will allow you to be there when the PICS are done and see for yourself. There is pressure-but if the joints can be pulled out-they are not good to begin with-IMO:))

I now avoid comments where possible on this site, because there are many anonymous weirdo's that seek notoriety by knocking well known people and kennels in our breed.

I will say that this scheme has considerable appeal to me, and I am of the opinion that it may offer considerably more than the current hip schemes, in offering genuine hope of reducing the levels and incidence of hip displasia. David
