kalibeck and blitzen, thanks for the compliments about angus. i'm not so sure about the elegant part; i made the cape a bit too long and he kept tripping. shelley, i've never dressed a dog for halloween before, but i got a wild hair up my butt for some reason and decided angus was going as dracula. temporary insanity? middle-aged brain fart? he did look cute tho. my son refused to let me make a costume for his mali-mix. and he's too old to dress up, so i had to have SOME fun.

Trailrider-- how cute!! i would be worried my dog would think they were 'stuffed animals"......lol...i couldnt imagine his reaction if one of his toys started crawling away from him....

iluvmygsd - that pic was taken at petsmart. it's one of angus's fav places and most of the kids there love him. they also took another pic (very similar) that they gave me for free (2 5 x 7's). not a bad deal.

kalibeck - i forgot to say; i made bison chili last night. my son and husband loved it; in fact, my husband announced that we were having it again tonite! okay by me. it is VERY good. thanks again for the recipe.

I love Halloween, we made a 'Ben Franklin' costume for my grandson, if my daughter would e-mail me the pix I'd post them; my g-dghtr was a cowgirl, complete with the stuffed horse she rode in on! I miss having kids come to the door...we live in a community, but my & my neighbors houses' are on a side street, noone wants to come all the way down the block for just 2 houses...my daughter goes all out, makes the front yard a grave yard with headstones, plays spooky music, etc, & she doesn't even stay home to enjoy it..she puts out a bucket of candy with a note to 'please take 1', and amazingly, the kids always do! When she gets home, there's always a piece or two left in the bottom of the bucket......NEXT year, Shelley, like it or not, Beckett is going 'trick or treating' with me & the g-kids....rationalize it as 'socialization'..(or guard dog incognito!) .LOL!!!  Maybe we could think of a group theme...jh

One of my puppy owners just sent me this photo of Fancy (vom Silbersee), a sable long stock coat. Who indignified that photo is, lol.

Thanks iluvmyGSD!  I think they're both pretty special. 

Nope Chris, nobody has ever said he looks like Macaulay before.  I can see that a bit in the pic, not so much in person.  

I feel bad for Fancy.  Whadaya' bet she poops on someone's pillow tonight?
