4pack

by 4pack on 26 October 2007 - 23:10

Come on now 4pack. Exactly who are these great trainers you bounced around to. The few trainers that did work your dog; who introduced you to them? OK I'll give you credit for introducing me to allot of people in the dog world, but your head is a bit big these days. I wont post names now that this is all in a negative light.

Unless I have been in another demention, or living in some altered reality, I am the one who has trained your dog to this point. Not to mention picking the dog out for you and practically forcing you to buy him instead of sending $3000 to Belgium for some half ass dog.  I did let you take over my dog a couple times, due to your overbearing nagging and it didn't last for more than a few days at a time because something always came up and you sat on your butt instead of working the dog. I know my couch is comfy but your just plain lazy. I would get tired of  the dog sitting in his kennel, so off again we would go, me behind the leash much to your control freakish chagrin. So correction, you didn't train my dog, you were a decoy for him. As far as you picking my dog out...hahaha don't make me laugh, we have been having this conversation since the dog got here. He's mine, I found Enzo, showed you the video clips and I spoke with Chris myself, I paid for the dog. I watched the videos of each and every puppy with and without you and I made my pick, you had your own opinions but in the end I picked the black and tan and I had him shipped here. I drive him to training and I pay for the equipment and training. Stop living vicariously through my puppy. You have your own that I helped you get here and was gracious enough to let you take up a kennel space.   Your outburst on here is really disturbing. As far as buying some half assed dog, I have looked at allot of other dogs and puppies, everyone who knows me knows I'm not a one dog girl and yes I am always looking for another. I'm still looking most days at what is out there.

You should really give credit where credit is due. I give credit to myself for living and learning once again, dogs are better than men in sooo many ways. Sorry you feel thwarted now that our personal relationship is over and you feel you need to publicly take credit for whatever I have done or learned in the last 1 1/2 yrs. I can't give you restitution for what my brain soaked up or who you introduced me to, such is life. Though I have been feeding you and your dog and you aren't paying rent, so who owes who really?   You shouldn't even care or feel threatened by what I have here, since you are a Malinois guy. I should be the one pissed and at myself no less, that you have a 1/2 sibling to my dog out here on the west coast and I paid her shipping cost. But I'm not pissed and It doesn't bother me, I'm not threatened by that or you. You don't own the rights to these bloodlines, get over yourself! Maybe I will breed someday, maybe I wont. That's just something your going to have to deal with. So sorry your little dream you had didn't workout, I ran out of patience and money.   Sorry all for getting off topic here. Just some personal bullshit that should have taken place in private but didn't. If called out I will respond.

Don -To some degree I can eat crow in dealing with an arrogant jerk IF he/she's got something I really really want. And it better be something I can't get so easily somewhere else.  I'm a "prinicpal" type of person some times.  I got a real problem with cocky ignorant people that are all business when it comes to moving their dogs.  My money spends anywhere so I'll be damned if I'm gonna give it to someone who could care less where their dog ends up as long as the money's in the bank.  If you're a jerk before you've sold me a dog just imagine what an ASS you'd be if there was some sort of "issue" or "problem" with the dog AFTER I get it??  You're character says a lot about you as a person and if I'm a stranger to you then automatically I'm gonna come in to it with my guard up.  If you appear to be honest and upfront then I will be less likely to worry about some of the things we hear happen more often than not on the PDB with dogs being misrepresented, papers not showing up, papers being tampered with, dogs showing up with 1 testicle....a reputable breeder or kennel is not gonna fool around with risking their reputation in pulling that kind of crap.  They work hard towards a good reputation and it doesn't come by being arrogant, rude or shady.

I'm not saying I want the breeder or whoever I bought a dog from to be my best friend but instead want to feel like if I have a problem with the dog within a reasonable period of time-they will make it right rather than wash their hands by saying I got my money, you got your dog now it's your problem sorry for your luck.

I have 3 people that have offspring from my dog that I didn't even own the litter nor was I the one who sold them pups; these people all active in sch periodically email me with pictures and updates on how well the dogs are progressing.  And I being interested in what my dogs sons and daughter's are doing welcome the feedback.  I just think good PR skills goes a long way in any type of business weather you're breeding dogs or providing a service and weather you're on a small "hobby" scale or a "high end" scale.  If 2 people both have equal products or services but one is a pain in the rear to deal with and the other is easy going and honest I'm gonna pass my business on to the easy going nice guy over the creep that needs a personality.  JMO

Everything MVF said !

OK, This probably sounds weird but a real pet peave I have is breeders who list every compliment from every person who ever bought a dog from them on their "testimonials" page.  To me, it smacks of a slick sales technique, geared towards the average pet home.  I would rather see a list of the accomplishments of dogs bred by that kennel  Frankly, I couldn't care less if little Johnnie loves his christmas puppy!!
