oh i'm so sorry. i just got done taking angus out for his evening walk and decided to check out the site. immediately started crying. duke looked to be a big beautiful boy. sounds like lady luck smiled on you both the day she put you two together. hopefully you'll be here many many years, but he'll wait patiently. god bless....k

I am sorry to hear about your best four legged friend. I too have one like Duke and get emotional when I think about her leaving me (which is not to far off as she is getting older) . Pedigrees and titles do not mean squat when it comes to a "true bond" the ones that look like poetry in motion.

They know what you are thinking and start doing it without a word spoken. Or that look of understanding . Or the wink they give after you tell them how pretty they are. The head agaisnt the shoulder  as you sit and cry in their fur.  the loney nights sitting together. Bed cuddling . the list goes on and on. only a person that has had a true bond with a animal understands.

May God bless you and Duke

don't focus on the time you don't have with him but all the great times you shared together. I am off to go cuddle and hug on my old girl.

MI GSD

the lose of a loved one is a very dificult time. there is really nothing that can be said that will fill that hole that is left by his departure.

Grieving is a process and takes time. unfortunately, there are no short cuts.

However, you should celebrate in the life that you made for Duke and yourself together. That will never die and is blessed to eternal life in your heart.

God Bless you and even though we do not know him we will also miss Duke and the love and devotion that he stood for.

Jeffrey

May he watch over you and the beautiful memories abide in your heart and memory forever.

You were his angel while here on earth and he will be yours whilst you remain.
